Hello I just want to ask if what kind of wide trucks will fit on Closeup g4 decks? I got mine 2 days ago and I noticed that the trucks that comes with it is defective.. It's not aligned straight its kind slanted facing on the right. I want to replace it but the deck doesn't have a kingpin holes on it so I'm kinda having a hard time to find one. Any suggestions will be highly appreciated. Thanks.

The Close Up trucks are defective? Can you take a picture to show what you mean? If it's a problem with the manufacturing, you should probably email them for a replacement. I would like to see what's wrong with it though.

Anyway, Close Ups should fit any truck that doesn't have sticking out kingpins.

I tried the TD wood competition trucks and it wont fit because the deck screw holes are kinda bigger than the base plate. Here's the picture.





The front and back trucks are not facing straight. therefore when I try ollie its doing kickflips and it is pretty annoying. I tried to reseat the trucks as well but its still the same.

Yes it is.. I got it from Flatface, I emailed them but after 2 days still got no reply. Do you guys think the baseplate of Dump trucks which available on Flatface will fit on G4 decks?

Have you tried unassembling it and reassembling it? Or trying to force it into position?

And Dump trucks will fit.

Yes I tried to reseat the trucks and disassemlbing them several times but it still the same.. I haven't forced it yet coz I'm afraid that I'll break it if I did. Thanks for the email I'll try to contact them later. If its not returnable maybe ill just buy the dump trucks and use the baseplate on it.

You usually don't need to return them, they would probably send you a new pair.

One final suggestion would be that if the pivot on the hanger is slightly misshaped, it could affect the hanger being at an angle. If you have a look at the pivot, you might just need to sand or file it.

I just have an idea, my pivot is not centered on the baseplate maybe that's why it's angled. But if I drilled it on the center and put a pivot cup on it do you think it will work? I tried to email Closeup still no reply. My last option is if you have a spare g4 trucks to sell for me that would be awesome.

use your finger and push it to the right and it should be strainght

Or, just swap the base plates.......

I tried swapping the base plate with the TD ones. But I will not fit on to the screws. the screw holes of the deck is kinda far apart.

get a good pair of trucks, either y trucks or brt's but there expensive. chine wides should be fine

I found a solution I enlarged the pivot hole to align the hanger to the kingpin screw. It worked and its straight now. I'll just put a pivot cup on it to make it stable. thanks for the help guys.
