Well, its been a long long ride for me. Over a year of running unitefingerboarding and I couldn't be more amazed still, every day, as to what's happened. Travelling around europe, meeting soo many amazing fingerboarders, making good friends with people from the biggest companies in the world, and all because of unitefingerboarding. I love doing what I do and for a while now I've wanted to make the site more closely reflect the vibe I feel fingerboarding has for me. Outdoor, chilled, awesome fun, that's what fingerboarding is to me, that's when I have the most fun doing it. So, I'm beyond stoked to present to you guys something I'm nicknaming.. unitefingerboarding 2.0

New graphics, new vibes, new colours, rewritten pages, updated friends section, and overall a whole lot of awesome! I hope you guys like the changes, and will continue to support unitefingerboarding. Remember, its not just a UK site, its a site for everyone, wherever you are in the world! If you want fingerboarding news, media, and more, on a daily basis, one could argue there's no better place to go.

Also, I hope the new scheme inspires people to go fingerboard outside! And to further promote that, I've decided to put on a competition. A photo competition: Finger Life! Basically, I want you guys to take a photo that compares fingerboarding, to normal size life. Think about it in what ever way you want, but here's an example to get those creative juices flowing.

See, its a bench, but next to it is a fingerboard bench, with a fingerboarder sat on it, instead of a person sat on the normal bench. But you guys can do WAY better than that! Just go outside, be as creative as possible, and have fun! All the rules are that you have to take a picture that compares fingerboarding life to real life, and you have to have a fingerboard in it. Whether the picture has a person doing a trick in it or not is up to you, so you can be the worst fingerboarder ever and still have a chance at this competition! And why should you enter?

That's right, you'll win all of that! A berlinwood elias assmuth (brand new from Thomas Hansen the other day), a sheet of King Size tape and uncut China tape, tuned black and gold wide trucks, and a LOAD of stickers. Awesome stuff! Deadline is Sunday the 4th of September, as we'll have another competition coming up very shortly after that with EVEN better prizes. Stay tuned, and go have fun with this!

Hey Kerry. It's amazing how much progress you've made in such a short amount of time and I truly am really pleased for you. Well done on keeping it all up and running for longer than anyone could have imagined.
