I think most regular fbhq'ers will be aware of this, but Xi is leaving for China on monday.

Hope you're still around, although can appreciate that it certainly wont be nearly as often. Xi's one of the top members on here and the fact that he only came around and onto the forum late laste year and is already sponsored by Close-up and one of the most respected members on the whole forum shows what a talented member of the community we've got.

It'll be a loss to the forum because he's someone that can bring a cool head to any argument or situation that arises on here... he's basically a mod without the title.

anyway, thought i'd just make this quick topic so people could wish Xi the best in China.

Hey Simon. Although I've occasionally mentioned this during the year, I doubt anyone really took notice. This was why I wasn't sure if I could make it to UKR3 but now it's confirmed I won't be able to go. I actually only joined FBHQ early this year (to find info about CS3) but stayed as I enjoy this place much more than FFI. Thanks for the nice comments, maybe I will attend future events some time in '12 so see you then. I'll try to stick around on the forum but my internet access will be much less over there.

P.S. It's probably a good move given China's booming economy. Spread the fingerboarding love to China! Not the mass production side, but the real scene.
