I've been yoyoing for like 3 years now and I wouldn't even tattoo a yoyo on myself. Our generation jumps the gun when it comes to body art... I may get a small cornet on my chest when I finish school just because of all the music I played with my family and how I'm never going to regret all the fun I had playing shows. But I'm never getting anything on my arms or visible by any sort of employer... People hate to admit it but we still live in a world run by the fucks of the last generation (look at SOPA and PIPA) Do you really think that these people are down for these new funky ways of thinking like we are? Not at all... My girlfriend got a flower tatooed on her forearm, fortunately she doesn't seem to have any trouble finding a job but I warn all of you: in the future that may break or make whether you get hired for a job you've wanted for a long time. At this point in my life I've worked way to long and way to hard towards this career I'm shooting for to have it be fucked up by anything... ANYTHING.

True Max. But all of that are things you consider BEFORE getting your tattoo.

I have a huge shark tattoo on my right upper arm. People always ask for a meaning when it comes to tattoos, my only reason to get it was/is that it looks cool. And yea, in a couple of years i would probably have gotten something else, but then i will look at my tattoo and think back on the person i was at the time i got it.

I'd probably never get a tattoo, but I don't think it'd make a change on me getting a job, I mean i've basically been unemployed and looking for a job for 3 years now, and I'm a degree graduate with a good degree. I agree it could make a difference, but at the end of the day I don't think I'll ever go into a job where it'd matter if I got a tattoo. Because I know what I want to work in, and it just so happens to be the subject matter of this forum. Anything else I do will just be a temporary job whilst I'm making that happen. So if I wanted a tattoo, I'd get it. Sure the big wigs and assholes who think SOPA is a good idea run the world, but I'd rather be a poor and happy minority doing what I love, than get a good job and run along in line with everyone else. You only get one life, the fuck is the point of not following your dreams?

Tattoo's aren't always supposed to have a deep meaning, in this case it's about a memory. For others it's just about looking cool.
