| So after FF15 I realised just how awesome events are, and that I need to pull my finger out my bum and get on doing something I've planned in my head for ages - a unitefingerboarding event. Bristol, sometime in the summer. We'd have parks (unite park + I'll build another one + maybe a bowl too), sponsorship from tons of companies, and a whole lot of fun. I'm thinking early august, maybe august 1st? Would be cool to do on my birthday, but that's just a random idea. What sorts of dates would you guys be up for? I really want to make this a reality. For those who don't ever leave manchester for events - don't be silly. Bristol is pretty central in the Uk, as much so as London is really. Its a beautiful city and has tons to offer fingerboarding and skateboarding wise, as well as chill places to hang out. Maybe 6 people can crash at my place too. Please help me out on this so it can happen first shitty idea at a logo + name:

thanks for all the feedback but I REALLY need you guys to say what dates you can do, not many people have done so. also feedback on the name would be nice As for travel, there are many busses + trains into bristol, get what ever is cheaper for you! www.nationalexpress.com - www.thetrainline.com - www.megabus.comI got a bus ticket to cyclone 3 back when that was for £1 each way XD You'd have to get a bus to where the event is from the train station, I'm looking at a few places but none of them are mega central or the place is gonna cost like £2103982093 for a day - and fuck that. I still am gonna have to charge people to get in, but it wont be loads. And I'll make a detailed list of instructions for travel from the bus + train station so that you guys can get to the event and back easily. For those who want to stay and cant fit in my house, there's also a travellodge that's not tooo far from the place where the event is likely to be. Maybe 20 mins walk - the place I'm hopeful on is maybe half an hour from town centre if you walk

Sounds like a lot of fun, I think the name is good as it already feels familiar like fast fingers or something. The 1st seems like a good date why not do a poll to see which the most people choose?

Actually, I just had a talk with my Parents it's pretty unlikely I'll be able to come on the day and then go back in the night :/ seeing as it's a 6 hour coach trip and my parents have foreign students staying.

@finn - stay the night? @ EVERYONE not to sound like a dick, but I figure we'd all like an event? it would be MEGA MEGA helpful if you could all pitch in with what dates you'd be able to do (a date range) - any time in the summer really, I just want as many people to come as possible. two parks + ramps + contests + raffle + friends + fingerboarding? please help make this happen
