Deck
Hi guys.
Today I am going to try my best to review the Nollie Wheels Carbon Fibre Deck 2012 shape for you.
First Impressions-WOW! When I opened it I was like OH-MY-GOD! I loved the way it shimmers in the light, its a very nice deck. What I did like was the shape, the shape is very nice and I will come on to that later in the review. The thing I thought that was bad at first was the weight of the deck, when I first got it I compared it to a wooden deck and it felt much heavier. (do NOT worry as it doesn't affect the performance of the board).
Shape- at first I didn't think the shape would be the nicest shape for my preference because I *used to* prefer a deck with medium/high kicks and medium/high concave, but it all changed with the Nollie Deck. The Nollie Deck has medium kicks and medium/low concave, the shape is very nice! As the deck is made out of pure solid carbon fibre it will never lose its pop unlike most wooden decks can lose the pop in a short period of time. Also the nose and the tail are equal lengths at the same angle so it really doesn't matter which end is facing which way.
Dimensions of the deck/ Other Info- The Nollie Carbon Fibre deck is 100mm long x 30mm and weighs approximately 10grams by itself. The deck does have kingpin holes so pretty much ANY truck will fit on the deck, also, the trucks are counter-sunk into the deck so the board is closer to the ground which enables you to have more control over the board. (props to Rory/Toebex for noticing that!)
Performance-Please note that this part is my own impression and no one elses so if you disagree don't think I am wrong because this is my view
Anyway, in my opinion the Nollie Wheels Carbon Fibre Deck is the best deck i have ever used and I wish I would be able to use this deck until I stop fingerboarding (if I stop fingerboarding lol). The amount of pop you get when using the board is unreal which is good! Also, the deck is amazing for nollie tricks and switch tricks because the nose and tail are equal so if you have it the wrong way round it doesn't really matter because there is no difference. For 30 euros this deck is a brilliant deck and you can tell that Nollie Wheels spend a lot of time making the decks to a high standard and they do the best to give you a brilliant board with excellent performance so Nollie wheels if you're reading this, THANKYOU FOR YOUR TIME AND EFFORT IN MAKING THIS DECK!
Overall rating-I would give this deck a
10/10 because it is a perfect deck which is so nice to use
