| Hey guys, I was wondering which you thought was better: Ytrucks or BlackRiver Trucks? If you could tell me which ones are better and then tell a few pros and cons of each or if you just have one set of either tell me about them too. Thanks. God Bless and (KS')=Keep Shreddin' |

| black river trucks expensive, need 'brr ed wheels or duals', light, i wouldn't ride anything else... y trucks expensive, strong, heavy, no changeable axles....(if you strip the thread on the axe3l your screwed......i had some, but they were just too heavy for me... ive tried 3 sets of ys and own 6 sets of brts. i also own wides/tech deck wides too....if your ready/want to spend money on either ys or brts, i would suggest trying them both b4 a purchase, although id have brts any day. |

| ytrucks for me but it's literally down to preference. Blackriver trucks are too much hassle for me, ytrucks are as easy to use as tech deck trucks and they look gnarly and you can also use any wheel you want to on them

| BRR trucks, if used with more than 2 brain cells, are hassle free to use, especially with brr edition wheels. They look nicer, coloured ones are coming out very soon, so says the word on FFI, and yea, I'd get them. I've seen some weird issues with Ytrucks, and hear they're heavy, which, I wouldn't like, I like a nice light setup. Ytrucks are good trucks to, but, they're also harder to get hold of. Personally, brrs all the way, but if you pick Ys I'm sure they'll be a good truck too |

| You always hear of BRT's breaking, it'd get too expensive. YT's ftw. |

| For the win, haha
Plus, design of YT's are a lot nicer. Materials seem better too! |

| they are just sooooo dam heavy though......i prefer the threaded baseplate holes and screws on ys, but thats about it......i think brts looks sexier.......if brts had threaded baseplates and screws they would be the ultimate. |

| Oh, if you have Double Bearings, no need to glue nuts either |

| I had to glue wheels on my y's as well as my brrs. so the "any wheel" thing isn't really completely true. I've had 5 sets of brrs and 6 sets of y's. Brr's are better. |

| yeah...i had to glue the nuts on all my ys....they dont stay tightened up....and the lock nuts are ok, if you put 1 set of wheels on and leave them on and never take them off, but if you take them on and off a couple times, the plastic thread inside the nut falls out....
everyone makes a big deal about the lock nuts, but they are no different to normal nuts really. |

Get panic baseplates and put them on BRRs then? They cost 5 euros and I'm almost certain they're threaded, and they look pretty cool with brrs imo. You could always paint the baseplates, then have some awesome coloured brrs which have benefits over normal brrs. |

| Y trucks for me. i have gone through 2 decks changes and transfer of wheels countless times now with my German flag x2's and the lock screws are still good not to mention the adjustment from loose to tight hangers is seamless. i really like the feel of them as well. but we are debating an resolved case it all comes down to preference and what works for you. |

| BRT's are the best choice. I have rode both and BRT's are stronger, lighter, and look cooler in my opinion. Although both are extremely over priced, it'd be better to get BRT's |

| It never ceases to amaze me that people even go back this far to look for threads, then have the logic to bump them as well?
Please don't bump old threads.
