Heres some of mine:
-Someone offers you something and at the last second they say "I dont send first"
-losing lock nuts

The I dont send first thing lol
Artsy videos (just my peeve, not hating on anyone who does this)
And people who think just because something is expensive it automatically think it's great.

-People saying stuff is new and innovative when it's already been done multiple times lol.
-Sorry to say but people who can't film well, have a shitty camera, then ask for subs lol. You don't need a great camera but at least don't suck and post horrible tricks with even worse style.
-People saying they can't do stuff on a certain companies' decks even though he filmed great tricks with the same decks and put it in a video lol. Trying too hard to fit in...
-People with ginormous sigs lol.

The sending first is only really expected in trades or if someone has very low/no rep somewhere.

Also, hand on hip when fingerboarding.

People who put an unrelated clashing branded sticker on a deck.

It's kinda annoying when my friends (who dont fingerboard but think its cool) asks "Who's best of you??????"
And it's also annoying when i get these messages on YouTube when people ask "How did you get sponsored?? Did u make a tryout?

- Watching videos with untucked fingers kind of bothers me.

- When people throw their tricks super high and is unrealistic looking.

- and definitely losing locknuts.

- 50-50's (a dumb one I know hahaha)

I also hate it when people throw there set up after they fail to do the trick or lands the trick.
The set up has feelings too guys!

#1: Lil kids believing they know it all instead of shutting the fuck up and letting grown folks talk.
#2: Lil kids thinking #1 is about them. Har
#3: Lack of Black Dynamite references.
#4: Lack of me filming when i should prolly film more.
#5: The decline of company videos.
#6: Friends section of company videos.
#7: People saying that deck companies should try to use shapes that no one has used then complain that the selected deck(after company complies with the suggestion) is not their preference because their preference is -insert company-.
#8: Gangsta rap in fingerboarding videos.
#9: Lil wayne in anything fingerboarding related.
#10: People wanting creative style but rags on people who do creative styled tricks.
#11: Fingerboarders hating fingerboarders for fingerboarding. < This is true story material
#12: Riders who company skip. You know, jumping from one deck sponsor to the next over the time-span of 8 months?
#13: Lack of fruit flavored fingerboards.
#14: Lack of understanding sarcasm.
#15: Believing the real stuff is sarcasm.
#16: People having no clue of the events that have happened in fingerboarding history. As far as the forums and online community is concerned.
#17: Board/lip slides on ledges
#18: Flipping from board or lipslides done on ledges
#19: The stop and go method. ie; Approach obstacle > stop > pop trick/draw back pop trick > grind. OR approach obstacle > pop trick > grind > stop > pop trick out
#20: People riding how others expect them to ride instead of doing what feels right to their selves.

I genuinely wish to be educated. Please write a post/article on FFI/FBHQ/FB about some of the major and controversial events.

All that come to mind that I vaguely know about are BW/Nollie, Dooby(Forgiven)/Rory(Toebex), NCD/Prowood, YW-Ytrucks/Oak.

Deshawn I agree with all but #1, #8, and #17/18. I absolutely DESPISE when the older guys think that they're better than everybody else just because their parents fucked a few years before mine. From waht I can tell you're pretty chill for the most part. And boardlide/lipslides can actually look good if done right. Otherwise ALL TRUE lol

If you want to "real talk"... then here it is. I began in 1995. I helped build some of the forums people come to love today. I also had a hand(pun here) in keeping one of FBing's biggest names.. fingerboarding. Its not a matter of being better, its general manners to be respectful to those who have come before you. Give yourself another 10 years at this, then let a few kids tell you youre doing it wrong, the people who helped build the community did it wrong.. and so on and so forth.

FYI, the older crowd doesnt think the younger crowd is better or worst. We do think a lot of kids take this awesome joy called fingerboarding lightly. No, not take it "serious".. but enjoy it while it last. Enjoying it how you want and not how the current trend takes it.
