I think that the 2 main things you should get that are "pro" are the trucks and the wheels. BRT's make it so much easier to ride and really helped me out in learning tricks and getting better. same thing goes for the wheels, I have flatface BRR editions and they are great, and only $35 (plus i think they are way better than my winklers). Now for a deck, you can get almost any company that is legitimate. I have tried berlinwoods to yellowoods and they all are great, but the decks that I enjoy riding most, are the ones from the smaller companies. They pretty much will have the same performance as the "pro" decks, as long as you get a shape you like. Some examples of good cheaper priced companies I would recommend are: pure, temple, 180x fingerboards, TP Decks, TJ Decks, Weca Decks, Lovedrug, etc. But thats just my opinion very happy

I remember when a "pro setup" was anything with YOUR pro sig items. Your pro deck graphic on pro sig trucks on pro sig wheels.
