1) dont swear that much 2) people buy expensive stuff for the fun if fingerboarding, to realise its full potential. we dont see timo or martin using techdecks now, do we?

1) What Simon said. You're 13, the only thing that offends me is that language like that rolls off your tongue so easily. 2) If people wanna spend money, so what? I have two Berlinwoods, two Zonawoods, a PoP, and a whole host of other crap. I get what you're saying about people bitching about having no money to buy stuff, but this happens in two instances. First, they've bought something and now can't afford something else. This is annoying. Second, something new comes out and people have no money, but want it. Take, for example, the new Zonawood stock at FS. I'd buy one of those, and some Prop tape if I had cash. I don't though, but I show my support and intention by telling Kerry, or whoever else, that it's awesome and that I'd get it if I wasn't so skint. Also, I've never been so annoyed and/or bored that I'd make a video to rant...
Just my two cents anyway. Doesn't seem like anything here is gonna be the death of the fingerboarding scene...

sorry guys
Fingerboarding today has got really fucked up dont get me wrong i love fingerboarding but theres alot i need to get off my chest
i remember about 2005 things were abit more chilled there werent kids bitching about riding a homemade deck and when fingerboarding first started people were riding chunks of wood
now people are complaining about not having the luxurys and not being able to get sponsored and the thing that pisses me off the most is when kids get like a shitty deck for christmas and have a face like a donkeys ass
not saying that the luxurys are bad but there is no need for all this bitching

sooo this is all good, right? How can people riding lumps of wood be a positive for the fingerboard scene? I see why you'd be annoyed with people being unimpressed with "good" decks...but relax :p

you cant gage what the entire of the fingerboarding world should be priced on because one ridiculously short (iirc, 3 decks or something) batch of decks that from what I heard weren't perfect. Sure you could buy a cheap setup for £13 from fingersized (zonawood + truck kit), but you're gonna want bearing wheels. then bushings. then trucks that turn and last better. then you're riding a professional setup. you might as well ask every skateboarder to ride a deck from JJB sports that costs £5 or something - I'm sure there are hundreds of thousands of people who'd say a collective 'fuck that' and ride skateboards from skate companies and happily spend over £100 on a setup that's gonna be nice to ride.
honestly you're bitching more than anyone else right now. ever considered that? to each their own, but I definitely disagree with what you say. I suppose to that end you're entitled to your opinion

On the subject of OGs, I very nearly threaded my BRTs trying to put them onto it. They're going on my Homewood now, and the OG will sit and simply look gorgeous.

Why do you care about how people spend their money? It's their decision to buy what ever they want. Not you.

No offense but you like you're about 15 so how are you going to have a good idea about what fingerboarding was 7 years ago? Not to mention that in 2005 we still had BRR and Berlinwood so it's not like decks were exactly cheaper then. $30 for a deck is pretty much the standard price for a deck. I think you're just focused on the negative things dude. There's still good products out there for a more then fair price. You say back then you could buy wide trucks well how about chemistry trucks, love drug distribution china wides and then fingersized? What about Pure, Love drug, Zink and all the other cheaper decks? Yeah things have gotten a little more advanced with real wear graphics and pro trucks but what else has really changed? People will always bitch about what they don't have.

No way did you say those things If people want to buy something, let them buy whatever they want! And, if you were 6 you probably used to use Tech Decks and crash them into each other, not actually fingerboard? Also, when you were 6 were you on forums, facebook etc?

You are the biggest bullshitter, haha. You're 13, you would of been 6 if you say you started in 2005. People weren't using "Chunks of wood", fingerboarding just wasn't as big as it is now, and no companies like Blackriver would be foolish to throw lots of money into it. You honestly sound like one of those kids who thinks they're an OG and misses the good ol' days. There were no good ol' days, there were just people using what was available, and I bet if you presented any of the people back on '05 with a set of BRR's, G7's, whatever, they'd gladly use them.
Stop bitching and get with the times. Use what you want, represent what you want, but don't come here and say that the current scene is shit because maybe half the people on this site don't use homemade boards.
