Recently I purchased myself 3 completes 2 4corners and a peoples republic and I was stoked on using them, this a major upgrade from my previous setup. After reading through all the posts and what not I realize that these companies are nothing but china which kind of disapoints me. For now I have what I have and im doing what I love thats what matters most. Cant wait to try a better deck though.

Haha yup! Although my P-rep setup is tolerable with the wheels and tuning I put on it. But the 4cfb's just dont feel smooth to me..

Dont feel bad about it dude. You can always progress and upgrade your main setup over time and get what works for you If you dont feel like spending like 100$ or more straight away..

You now have china wides wich is commonly used and works just fine. Now you can simply go and get a more advanced deck of your desire and put the china wides + wheels and tuning on it with great success. You will feel a progress in terms of setup performance and be pleased with it..

Then when you want a more reliable pro truck setup with smoother wheels you can go all in and treat yourself..

That sucks man, better do some research next time before you buy another complete or deck. There are a'lot of companies that are run by fingerboarders. Most of the companies that sell China crap are just people who can't find a job and sell that for way over priced. But they aren't bad for beginners. Minus the deck, well hope you find a better deck or complete next time!

China decks are fine. The problem with them is that buying them is putting money in the hands of greedy money makers instead of putting money in the hands of fingerboarders that are working to improve fingerboarding.

Also, the quality of china decks is pretty half-assed.


That said, if i had a china complete, the first thing i would change would be the wheels.

Yeah I have changed the wheels and its made hell of a difference!
And I want to say thanks to you all for welcoming me and for the good advice!

^Star Fingerboarding wheels are still china lmao but if they're better than the other wheels you have ride them until you get some better wheels

Yeah I know but they are a higher quality then the ones that came with 4cfb. Like these wheels are actual urethane and roll super smooth.

They are just lathed china wheels.. Still terrible quality, but definitely better performance than a Tech Deck and the molded china wheels.

Yup definitely way better then the molded china wheels, for the price they are I think they are great for me as a begginer.

^Hold on! That is bullshit.. Those wheels are lathed china wheels. The main problem about them is not their quality but the fact that you support a china company by buying them. China companies are the biggest threat to the evolution of fingerboarding.
