| Hey guys, So I've started making decks. It's called Compiny fingerboards, and right now it's just me :)I make 33.5 mm medium-concave-medium kick decks. All Canadian maple with either mahogany, cherry or plain maple bottom plys. My website is compiny.bigcartel.com and I've got the mahogany and cherry decks up there. Right now I'm perfecting he shape, so if you drop me a PM on here I can do you for just shipping a material cost, as I need feedback to make sure my decks are good enough to put out there. :)My mold is handmade by me and and all my veneer is locally sourced in Vanouver, BC. Let me know what you think!

| I'm missing a reason to buy one.. There are pictures on the side with terrible holes, and a price of $25 .. That's pretty steep for decks made with next to no experience.
I can't see why i wouldnt just go to Temple, Pure or spend $5 more and get a Homewood (the most perfect deck).

| Wish you would have worked a bit harder on the easy parts of the deck making, like a template that gives perfect hole placement every time and the sanding of the edges and a shiny clear coat. All of that is just finnishing you know, and that is a big part of the end quality of the decks. And that is what should be used as marketing images on the website. This seems a bit rushed to me, sorry. I get that you enjoy deck making progress and satisfaction of creating something as much as anyone else. Just please take a best intent advise and dont rush it you know. There are plenty dudes on here to give you a few pointers and good advice before you launch anything without getting a few second opinions.. I rarely comment on these company threads created because they tend to go no were fast. But I post here because I see potential in you and want to see you progress! |

I TOTALLY get that. And I agree with it. As I said above, I'm selling them for around 5 dollars right now, so I can get some input on them. Also thanks for the advice Bakko! |

| A slightly more dramatic profile of Seamus' deck. Also in the second picture a hole looks off for some reason, it's not as you can see in the first pic. That's what happens when you take photos with an iPhone at night. |
