| uhh so I've kinda been out of the fingerboard scene/living on handouts for about as long as I care to remember and I think the last time I actually knew about stuff that was out was when FBS had just released the first competitor to riptape.
Now it seems that everyone and their dog's uncle sells some kinda grip - but what's the best? What should I avoid? DOES IT REALLY FUCKING MATTER?
I've only got a couple sheets of some stuff I got in my one and only Shop sponsor pack and I have no clue what it is but it's nice. I think I have some other stuff. I don't know. |

| China is sold by a lot of places, it's really thin, and has a white back. It does feel pretty good though! Wears out quickly, however.
Ace V2 is brilliant, you can get it from Kerry for £5 for 5 sheets.
There's classic Riptape too, which is porous but doesn't feel like it used to.
Riptape Slim and Catchy (S+C) is kind of like a bland between rip and china, slightly porous but with grip from the start.
Propaganda is really good too, from what I hear.
To be honest, I can use most tapes as long as it's not craft store or mega thick, maybe just try a few different ones at MuN and see what you like? |

| Yeah man, that sounds like a good idea! I just know I'm getting a couple new decks soon, I wanna make sure I've got some grip for them and don't buy some shite hahah |

| Yeah dude, I know what you mean! Nothing worse than having no tape for new decks, aha I'd go for Ace v2, it's cheap per sheet and you can get it from the UK! It's probably my favourite tape too |

| If you wanna try ACE, drop into Newcastle and go to 9-11 Carliol, Square. Head into the Basement Coffee House and ask for Chris or Kat. My wife and I both use Ace V2 |

| Oh you work there?!?! A friend and I were both talking about going there soon, he said it's super nice ahah
So crazy, only just seen you on the forums (my own fault, I never come on here), super stoked to find someone else from round here!
It'd be sweet to pop in and give it a shot for sure, when do you work? And your wife fingerboards too?! That's so rad! |

| I work literally every day, 8-5. However, I start a new job next week, so after Wednesday I won't be there, except on Sundays (it's also my church) |

| ace v2 is my favourite, closely followed by propaganda. if you want some ace it's on fingersized and shipping is cheap as tits - but if you'd want to wait for it I could bring it up - however you'd get it sooner with it being shipped cool to see you around btw man, see you at MuN! has been way too long, not seen you since you beat me in skate at UKR3! |

| Ooh, Pink Lane Coffee is really nice too!! Hahah
Well there's no huge rush because I don't have any decks needing grip JUST yet, so if you could bring me a pack at MuN then I'll just get it off you then man!
I know! It's been crazy, like a year since I've seen anyone at all! Pretty sad, I dunno if anything happened after UKR3 but I was either too busy or too skint to be there :c Whoa, I beat you at skate?! But I suck at skate!! |
