| It's all China hardware besides the decks, I'm not trying to bust anyone's balls and act like it's the new hot shit. Just wanted to get everything to stock to finally offer completes for Frost. That way anyone who is just finding out about the scene or someone who might just want a backup set-up can go and purchase one at a cost that will be cheaper than most people sell JUST a deck for. And if you're already big into the scene and have your own professional trucks, wheel, and tape, then you can still choose to buy a deck alone and set it up yourself.
Completes are going to be $25 shipped, decks will be starting at $17 shipped. If you want a new backup set up, then it's only $8 more, or you can save the cash and just pick up a deck. |

| I hate china products as much as the next guy but I'd much rather buy a china complete from someone like Chad compared to the Skull Fingerboards guy. At least this way we're supporting a company who clearly cares about the scene unlike a lot of other people who sell china completes. |

| Selling china wheels is still bad for the scene. It takes sales from legit wheel companies. |

I feel the same, and not to mention everyone has to start somewhere. It's a good idea, and a smart business move! The deck alone is worth it, an if you're just needin some shit to do a outside sesh with and don't wanna fuck up your wheels/trucks. - Mikkel S wrote:

Not everyone can consistently spend 30/40 bucks for wheels! |

In my honest opinion it's the same as selling china wides and china tape. If you buy from the right people then I think it's fine. By buying china completes from one person you're funneling the amount of china stuff on the market pretty much. Yeah people will still offer china products but that's different then people actually buying it. |

| And I'm obviously not trying to fool anyone into thinking that they're better products than those made by Flatface, BRR, etc., anyone who is big enough into the scene can tell that themselves. I'm trying to hit on those kids who are just getting into the scene who would be reluctant to spend $30 on some wheels or $60 for some trucks, or maybe even $25 for just a deck. I'm offering a complete for those kids at an affordable price to get them INTO the scene to where they might eventually get into it enough to where they'll purchase wheels from FF or trucks from BRR. And again, for those that already know that the quality doesn't match those other companies, you realize that it's all for a decent price and could set yourself up a "decent" 2nd outdoor setup so that you don't have to mess up your expensive wheels and trucks.
I'm not trying to make profits off of the completes, I'm really just trying to make it easier for kids to get into fbing more. And by offering the complete package at a cheap price, even if it is subpar quality, is going to get kids into the scene a lot faster than only offering $30 decks, $30 wheels, and $60 trucks. Everyone has to start somewhere, so I'm just trying to make it easier TO start. |

| He's selling them as completes, hes not selling the parts individually besides his handcrafted decks. Not everybody is into it enough to be picky and want to pay 100$ for a set up. When i got back into the scene a few months ago, and i got china parts. So i could start myself off before getting the $ for nice parts. He's offering a complete for less than most decks and these decks even perform better IMO. If you guys dont like the idea of a good priced stock complete, then dont buy it. |

| Guys, this is an amazing deal. A Starfingerboards complete is the same price. Imo, it would be pretty foolish not to take advantage of this deal. Only if you are into the shape of course. |

| I see where front is coming from tho, cause my first wooden deck was a BKF an that was better then using a piece of 25mm plastic, so its better then nothing, then when you get better an figure out more about the fingerboarding scene they'll realize you will eventuly need to up grade but its about getting the ball rollin. |

| There are loads of decks on the market under $30. Actually around half that price.
There are $20 wheels.
If people dont want to spend $20 on wheels they can use non-bearing wheels.
When you sell china wheels you offer a wheel that will fit the same describtion as the legit wheels. This will decrease the need to upgrade the setup and purchase products from the legit companies.
This discussion will always be able to go back to "but the china products are offered everywhere, why not let a legit company get the profit?"
I think that by having legit companies sell china wheels and decks (homewood did) we are basically saying that the china products are OK.
Just wondering, have you checked what it would cost you to sell completes with a legit brand of wheels instead? |

| my two cents on why this isn't THAT BAD.. -budget price points NEED to exist, if people don't go to the scene they go to 4c or bkfb or w/e. small companies cant keep up with the demand, there are hundreds if not thousands of people who don't come on forums and want to get into fingerboarding.
-china wheels are, infact, complete shit. Someone had a set at Campus and the bollie wheels that are on Campus' fingerboard are soo much nicer. The lathed ones aren't terrible but just the standard ones.. askljdlkajsd *pukes*. Which is a good thing, because when someone tries some flatface wheels they're like a whale that's only eaten brine shrimp and then you eat an apple pie for the first time and you're like 'holy smokes this is delicious!' (if you get that reference you win a prize noactualprize)
-8 dorra for a tool + trucks with bushings + bearing wheels + tape.. he's really not making a fuck ton of money there, I know, I dealt in some of that stuff for a long time. 3-4 dollars for all of that wholesale, so, yea..
I DO THINK HOWEVER.. For this to be 'fair' (in my eyes at least), he should make an effort to point out that this hardware is basic hardware, and not the level of quality from say flatface wheels or w/e. |

Very well put Kerry and Jess. Unlike Mike S, Chad isnt reclaiming the products, simply stating it as a Complete. I mean Mike's dump trucks are fucking Chinas haha. But yeah like ive said, the deck is worth 30$ itself IMO, its not comparable to bkfb or any of them. I think We've all got our points accross! go buy one if youd like, but buy a deck even if u dont like |
