1) I've got Berlinwood heart on a BKF budget.. the low cost wheels I've found so far aren't really cutting it for me, but I don't have the splurge funds to blow on wheels such as oaks or winklers.. can someone point me in the direction of a low cost, high performance alternative?

2) I've been riding the Ace v2 tape, am almost out of my backup stock, and can't seem to track down any more (all retailers I've come across are out of stock) if this tape is not coming back, any suggestions as to a new tape with similar feel/durability?

no comply wheels are great and fairly cheap and yeh ace v2 is hard to get but you could get ace original tape (its 0.75mm) on the ace website

Ace original is in stock on the Ace site. It's buy one get one free too! So you get 10 sheets for the price of 5, also, if you buy some, you're helping Xi replace his stolen items

Try searching around buy and sell subforum for cheap wheels. And as what others have said ace original is available and it is almost the same as ace v2

Pick up some Icon wheels, cheap and really nice. Have some myself.

I would highly suggest no comply wheels. They have great prices and great quality. They even sell brt edition wheels now

I got some recently from the Ace website, I think I got the last pack because after I bought it the next day they were out of stock. Either way I wanted to know what all the hype was for the tape and bro this tape is beast!!!

I ride for Ace. The tape on sale at the moment is V1. V2 is unavailable from Ace and everywhere else, I believe. There should be something coming soon that's very good.

For low budget, high performance wheels, I recommend Close Up bearing wheels and No Comply Sesh Savers/V6/Roll9s/Buttas. Close Up bearing wheels are urethane. They're softer and grippier than other wheels. If you don't like those kinds of wheels, No Comply do very good value standard wheels.

No comply, hands down.

I've got enough of the v2 left to (hopefully) hold out till this new ace tape is released and see what that's all about.. if nothing else, I'll get to try out some new foamy greatness that'll come with the Homewood new mold I'm getting soon ( yay for new decks! lol)
