This^ And, before every sesh, STRETCH! Your sesh will be so much better when you've stretched! And learn to get comfortable on your board |

| Be prepared to fall and maybe hurt yourself
Be up for a challenge
Take your time, as Anton said, learn the basics and get comfortable with them
Get used to having the board under your feet for a few days or so by just riding around
Skate with friends! I found that I learn tricks much quicker and easier with my friends because I can learn off them and see how they do it |
