| I just started fingerboarding and I want to learn a kickflip, but my fb always spins too much and is too low. I already tried to pop harder, but it doesn't work.
Has anybody a good tutorial for kickflip because I can't find one. |

| try to pop it straight so it doesnt want to do a varial flip or a shuvit. also, try not to over-flick the nose, which will make it spin outta control |

| I've got some problems: - 1) I almost always do a double or triple kf - 2) If I don't do a double or triple, my board makes a 180 spin during the kickflip
Tips?

I think this is the problem, I've only practiced it for an hour, I think that if I practice a lot this week, I can do a kickflip next week |

Tips?
1) Move your finger closer to the concave(where you flick) so then you won't flick has hard. Also, flick a bit more to the nose, you might be flipping it deep in the concave and of course, make effort to flick a bit lighter. 2) Keep your fingers more centered on the deck. Dont have your fingers hanging off the front. |

| It's just I can't really control my fingers... although, I just did five (double or single) kickflips in a row Edit: Mark also said: It needs a lot of practice and my question was if it was normal that it took longer than a week to learn a kickflip |

| Hi everybody. I'm new to this forum, and to fingerboarding too. Just started playing for about a month now.
Sorry for replying in an old thread, but I also have problem with kickflip...
So my problem is, the nose of my deck always turns when it land, rarely land in a straight line. Usually it turned and landed 90 degree away from me. Sometimes even turned 180 degree (tail become the nose, and vice versa). Can anybody help me out?
I've checked and learned from gary chin's and mike's (and many other) video, but not helping my problem.
I've tried various finger placement, various degree of strength when sliding my index finger, but nothing solved the problem....
Any help would be much appreciated...
Thanx in advance |
