Here is the beginnings of what will be the mini park I'm building for my nephew...
Build Diary: Mini Park P1000810

Ever since he saw the half pipe I built a while ago he has been pestering me for his own. It looks like I will finally have the time to build him something. I've decided to go for a mini park this time.

The rail is a kitchen drawer handle I picked up a while ago and wanted to make use of. The final construction will be of polystyrene and concrete, as I have excess of both to get rid of before moving house next month.

The layout so far, from left to right, will be a curved bank at one end; a central three step pad with a wooden bench on the top level (lowest in picture); below that, a curved spine; the circular diagram will be a volcano rip-off; and finally in the bottom right, a corner wedge.

I'll post pictures here as I go along. Bear in mind, my nephew is only four (but an eager FBer), hence the small-ish proportions of this build.

i do think your proportions are off, you have too much going on in such a little space. your spine needs to atleast have enough transition to accommodate for all 4 wheels at once. i think you have space for a small set of stairs on one end, and a long quarter at the other. hope i helped some, if you think i can help let me know!

Nope, not really. If you had read my original message you would have seen that this is for a 4 year old. He will mainly be using tech decks, and really just wants somewhere to play, which is why the proportions are "off".
