| I personally like the TDLB's over BRT's and Y's. I'm just a wierdo but it works better on my 33mm+ decks. The trucks your looking for are like this. Hope that helps. |

| Guys, I've been practising switch Ollie's to grinds, and I'm getting there, but nollies I'm struggling with, I roll along and I can get the board up in the air, but it doesn't continue to travel forwards, it's like once I pop it up the deck goes back from the direction I'm rolling instead of continuing to move forwards.
Does anyone have any tips on how to keep the momentum going in the direction I'm rolling when I do a nollie?
Thanks in advance. |

| Watch some skaters and some fingerboards doing nollies in super slowmotion. Study every move.
This is one of the best ways to learn new tricks. |

| Thanks Mikkel, I've only just started managing to do switch Ollie's, they aren't smooth all the time but considering I couldn't even pop a deck in switch a couple weeks ago, I am always seeing improvements as I practice every single night pretty much.
I just thought that I'd attempt nollies onto my small rail, but as soon as I pop the deck pretty much stops going forward, and once I get it up in the air it ends up going back instead of forward, if that makes any sense?
I'll go check YouTube for some slow mo videos.
Thanks again. |

| Try keeping your hand moving with the way the boards rolling, don't stop the motion of your hand rolling forward once you pop, keep the momentum. It might help if you try Nollie into 5.0s aswell coz you learn to get the nose back up as you as you've popped, then once you have that down you can start levelling it out and shit. Hopefully that makes sense haha |

| Yeah, that makes sense man, thanks.
That is basically what I'm doing, I'm rolling along preparing to do a nollie but when I pop I just stop moving, and once it gets air my hand automatically wants to do the same motion it does when I do switch Ollie's. |

| Guys, I've done a forum search and can't find any info so I thought I'd ask here.
Anyone use Finga decks?
Are they any good, I want another 32mm for my Indy trucks as the Ambition sucks, any info on their 32mm decks would be much appreciated.
Thanks. |

| Yes, I've used one... The new Finga decks are pretty robust, with slightly higher than average kicks... Medium-ish concave, and a slightly longer nose. One thing we did notice is that the finish over the graphic was like everslick, and it made for an occasional clunky feeling.
Nice decks though, and overall, not a bad board to start with... Though there are a few others I'd also recommend as an entry level consideration, specifically guys such as DK... And probably plenty of others after that, but they're stocked at TNP, which is a consideration for you I know. |

| K so i plan on making an outdoor fingerboard park this summer, im gunna use clay as an under lay, but my question is should i put mesh ontop of the clay then lay down the concrete to give it strength and now crack? and if so i was thinking of using drywall mesh, like the kinda stuff to put over the joints and holes in a wall before you put the mud and sand it. you think that stuff would work? |

| Not sure exactly if dry wall mesh will work, but it would be smart to use some sort of mesh to give the crete something to grab/hold. I've never tried clay as a base, so let me know how that works. |
