| Man I went through this with them and they tried everything not to help me out. I bought them from Rendezvous. Emailed Blackriver when they stripped. Blackriver told me to take it up with Flatface, who told me to take it up with Blackriver. I gave up. |

Yeap. They really don't support you if you didn't buy them from the BRR webstore I tried contacting them before and nada cause I didn't buy my brts from the webstore. On Topic, The brt bases really easily get striped |

| You tape your trucks to the deck ?
Just use some China's or TechDeck trucks lol.... Surely that's better than having tape holding trucks on. |

| Yeah, no doubt the threading on BRTs straight from the box will get unthreaded real fast if youre not careful when mounting them, not sayin you were not careful, its just that one has to be so careful it is abselutly ridiculosomundo!
Pro tip: Try taking the trucks of the deck then add a little medium threadlock to the screws and screw them carefully back in the truck each at the time and let them sit for at least 24hrs. Then carefully screw the screws back out and mount the trucks back on the deck taking extra extra extra care when screwing in the screws to the baseplates this time = WIN!
This will help you out, though I do agree that it is not a ideal solution on such a high end and costly product "better than diamonds". BRR really need to adress this issue as it is an easy fix with only a replacement of the old thread taps with a tap that makes slightly tighter threads. Hey, it works for Teck Deck and most every other random china truck out there - so why not BRTs.. |

| Super glue a micro sized piece of pivot cup material to the inside of the screw holes and let it dry for a couple hours, then try using the regular brt screws again? |

| If you have bondo or maybe glue will work, maybe you could fill the holes and re thread them again ? |

| Buy new baseplates, is probably your only option now.
You can fuck around with filling the holes with stuff, but it prob won't end well.
If you really want to fix them, fill the holes carefully with JBWELD, smooth off each side of the hole. Let it cure for 24-48hours, then drill a hole with a 0.5mm drill bit through the center of the hole, then screw in your original screws.
Thing is, it's really going to take some precision, so if you don't have some JB Weld, and a drill press lying around I'd just buy some baseplates. |
