I can do basic switch tricks pretty smoothly BUT there is something wrong with my ring finger; It constantly extends and hits the nose, helping the flips to rotate and it bothers me badly Seems impossible for me to do switch flips without this happening... I quess it could be considered cheating, so I want to get rid of it, any tips on this?

Well, I know some people that this happens to. They say it's force of habit, but honestly, it looks really bad and makes it look like you are cheating. So what I would do, is practice doing switch ollies, but your main focus being to keep your ring finger tucked. That's really it. Just practice switch ollies like that, and when you really got the hang of it, move on to other switch tricks.

Oh man. I need to fix this too. Maybe you could try actively moving your ring finger away from the board. I notice when I nollie flip out of rail/manual tricks, my ring finger will sometimes catch on the nose popping it way in the air. I usually just leave them in videos when they look cool, but it still feels like cheating. Let me know how riding switch for a full week goes. I might have to try it soon

Tape your ring finger in the truck position. Then just practice. Hopefully when you when you take the tape off you will keep that finger tucked. That's all I could come up with
