| I always bring my fingerboard in my pocket. ALWAYS.
I drilled out an X-Games Fingerboard tool so that I always have a tool on my keyring.
I prefer my homemade cardboard ramps over most major ramp companies.
I still use tuned TD Wide trucks.
My concrete park is still at my parents house, even though my father has told me it's being taken out four times.
I don't follow fingerboard trends. EVER.

| I discovered fingerboarding at school when I was like 10 yo, but I didn't liked it that much, in fact I didn't know we could do a kickflip without putting a finger under the board, so then I forgot fingerboard. I discovered (trully) tech deck fingerboards during my travel to my aunt's house in Miami Beach (I live in france) in 2006 or 2007. the first ramps I ever made to sell under the VOICE FSB brand, where wooden aspect and where totally copied from Blackriver ramps... shame on me !! |

| I actually prefer wooden ledges w/o coping more.
I hate dirty/unsmooth wheels, so I spend way too much time cleaning them.
I first picked up a tech deck 5 years ago, but started fingerboarding again when it became a HUGE trend in my school (everyone had a tech deck)
I have way too many decks for the number of trucks/wheels I have. |

| I fingerboarded through most of middle school on a modified tech deck when they first came out. Dabbled a little in high school but ultimately stopped for almost 10 years. I've only been serious about it now for a little over a year and basically had to start from scratch to relearn everything on a wooden deck. |

| I prefer medium trucks (more on the tighter side though).
I always have to roll up at least a good 6 inches inches before I pop my trick because I can't stand it when people do a trick with no roll up. Looks so ugly/un-natural.
Ever since I was like 10 years old (I'm 22 now), I've been melting the kicks on my techdecks to make them a little steeper and using real griptape from old skateboards.
I've fooled little kids into thinking the reason I am good at fingerboarding is because I have magnets in my fingers haha.
I have ADHD and it's hard for me to sit still so I'm using my fingerboard all the time even when doing stuff like watching TV. Even if it's just on my leg doing some flip tricks or whatever. Drives my girlfriend insane but she knows it's a habit.
Balanced nosegrinnds/5-0's have always drove me crazy. even though the are harder, you have to slide that on that nose or tail. Looks waaay better to me.
My all time favorite trick (even though I suck ass at switch tricks) is a switch fs nosegrind fakie flip.
I think square rails, as long as they aren't too wide like the square flatface bike rack, are immensely better than round rails.
If I had to have only one obstacle to fingerboard on forever it'd probably be a square polejam.
I fingerboard with all my fingers out not with my last two fingers tucked. Just feels more natural to me. |

| i buy decks that i assume would be perfect for my preferences. if i buy a deck and dont like the shape, i dont try to break it in or get use to it. ill take it apart and try to sell it, but not for profit, im not an arsehole lol. tho my preferences have changed over time.. |

Thats like Samsung making cases for Apple.... Not really.. Most fingerboard gear follow "industry standards" so that all parts fit together. |

| It's all about strategy and business yellowood make their wheels to fit THEIR trucks so kids that own ywheels buy ytrucks. Pretty intelligent and basic actually |

| This is my first post. I ride all china! (for now) I've been at work since 6am, all i have done is order a Woob, and cruise this forum... I have been away from fbn' for about 4 years. Sometimes I have just as much fun setting up a park and building obstacles as I do riding... |

| my confession is that this forum is currently worse than FFI ever was
so many people on here putting enthusiastic rookies down and bagging them out, simply because theyre new to the scene and dont understand the ins and outs of it like most of the guys that have been around at least a couple years
but then theres the other side of that coin
all these new kids coming on here thinking they are king shit, convinced they are always right and are so full of themselves, not naming names but i can think of a couple off the top of my head.
i dont know
i bailed from the fb scene for a reason, way too much petty drama and gay trends |

i dont know
i bailed from the fb scene for a reason, way too much petty drama and gay trends i could go on and on and on for pages upon pages, I still lurk this site every now and again because my passion for fingerboarding will never die, its a distinct part of my childhood. but theres certain people on this website that make me seriously question the future of fingerboarding. |
