Alright this is going to sound funny, but i can do most tricks flatland within reason, but i cant do a pop shuvit? Its driving me crazy because its one of my favorite tricks. Whenever i pop it, it either overspins into a three shuv. And when i get a single spin its basically a shuvit, its as if any pop and it turns into a three shuv again, ive tried scooping more gently, but again same problem to just a shuvit, any ideas?

I just kept practising and then got it one day

if it makes you feel any better, i can barely ollie any more. it's just kickflips. i can get a clean ollie like once every 5 tries. i can kickflip every time though

What I used to do was Pop as if I was doing an ollie then I just let my middle finger do the swoop motion as soon as my board started to rise..Ill suggest try play around with different finger postions noting which feels more comfortable and which doesnt

even try some late pop shuvits at first to help with control on the rotation and find the right "flick"

Also I find it easier when I roll my board fast
