| It's real simple. We have been on the internet for 2 years now and we are having a sale. This is for all the people that have been wanting to try out a Maplewood and just haven't had the money to do it. Shipping is a flatrate of 5 USD which isn't too bad. Thanks to everyone that has made us a successful company!Enjoi (pun intended) ;p Keith |

| 5 dollars for shipping is ridiculous for a flat rate? I could understand if you thought 6 or 9 euro was ridiculous but the bubble wrappers i use cost me 1.50 and the shipping can be anywhere from 1.75-3.50 depending on where it is going. I thought it was right on for a flat rate |

| i dont think this guy acts like a bitch on ffi......all the people that 'pic' on him do, but i dont know about Keith?.....i do agree alot of his products look very similar to a certain deck, and even the sticker on your above deck looks like the brand in question, only with your 'company' name.......this sort of stuff is only gonna attract hate imo..... |

| @bifflicious Spend over 25 years making fingerboards then have a group of people pick apart every single post you make whether it is about your products, saying congratulations to a friend, or trying to help someone out for over a YEAR. Then take everything that is thrown at you for a year, only responding with posts that tell the truth about what you are doing, try to explain to people exactly what goes on, be mature through the entire process, and then have someone that doesn't know you, has never talked to you, never took the time to get to know you, just straight out tell a lie about you on FFI and then you would understand how i felt when i made that post. Here is the truth about what is happening on FFI straight out truth no bullshit. Todd came to my post as a moderator on FFI posting the post he did about the stickers which was brought up over a year ago. So i said something to Todd, he said something back, i said something else, and then he locked the thread. So i was not able to respond to his post. I made another post as a direct post to Todd telling him that he was a liar and he did lie straight out to everyone on FFI when he said that i had sold bondo molds on ebay. I have never sold a bondo mold in my life to anyone. So there was the post telling him he was a liar on FFI straight out there it was (Although it would not have been a post if he hadn't of abused his moderator status and let me reply in the thread of mine that he came bashing in the first place) So i posted that as a reply to my thread and i locked the thread just so that Todd saw it and everyone else on FFI saw it as well. What did he do? He came to that thread UNLOCKED it (again abusing his moderator status) and replied to it. I replied to his reply and then i LOCKED the thread again. He came in and UNLOCKED it again posted his reply then locked it. There is the truth. As i said i did make a mistake with the sticker (in sending it to anyone althought it was only 2 ppl that got it) but the sticker on the above deck is just a sticker. It is not in the font that (the other company) uses it is yellow and black but who cares yellow should be able to be used by anyone anyway they want. Since my company is named Maplewood should people not be allowed to use Maple? There are also greenwood, bluewood, whitewood, etc etc etc since those are named that should no one be able to use those colors on there decks? My decks are not similiar to yellowood and i say that honestly. Yellowood has a very very sharp bend in there concave which i don't like i go for a more rounded off look to my decks as it pertains to the kicks and conaves. I like yellowood, but to say that i copied them is like so vague indeed. I haven't copied anyone since i got here on the internet scene. I think i make an ok deck and i think i am an alright person. But the nicest of people can only be pushed so far. The sticker the one on Elias video yes it was a mistake i was given the whole lot of them for free because the guy messed up on them. 2 were given to ppl the rest were taken care of. And i only gave those to the people because they asked me directly for them knowing the entire story maybe the translation got messed up when i told them that i didn't want the sticker shown. I dunno anyway bifflicious let a group rip you every single time you post for a year, tell lies about you, and try to ruin your reputation and maybe you would handle it differently but i kinda doubt that there are too many ppl that would put up with what i have for a year on the most public fingerboard forums probably on the planet and keep going. Keith EDIT: If you look at the dooby decks post in fingerboard discussion there you will see what i mean Biff |

| i kinda understand you Keith......i dont know the story, and nor do i care, i for one was making decks over 20 years ago, but i doubt many would believe it because i did it at school, quit, got on with my life, then got back into it again. but anyway, i think most decks are similar anyway, be it 'whatever' deck they are, most decks use the same measurements to 1/2mm.. and yeah, yellow is a colour. anyone can use it....but i jst think in this game you have to come out with something that people cannot then go and say 'that's a such and such copy' because some people can be so nasty, and will be..... i for one will be judging your decks/products on personal experience, not hype |

| yeah, some of the peeps that flame at keith should actually get to know him. and whats probably more pathetic is the people flaming at him probably dont know anything behind the story and are just following the crowd...trying to be "cool" if thats the word. he's a cool guy and the short time i've been in contact with him, he's been giving me alot of help and ideas with my company so if you bothererd speaking to him...maybe you'd see. so dont follow the crowd!
(sorry for the preeching) lolz |

| Nah you don't have to contact me via pm you can order directly from the site. If you wish to get something made then ya you would need to pm me but other than that all the decks that are in stock on the site are available for purchase.
Ya Blosom the thing that most ppl don't get is that you can look at almost any fingerboard and find another company that has something that is really similiar. I mean with the limited area we work with 26mm-32mm wide and 95mm-105mm long there is not too much you can do with that you either work with a rounded concave or a straight concave and pretty much that determines alot on how your decks look. I've bought from alot of the major companies and they are pretty similiar other than the way they are shaped, clearcoated, and how they drill there holes.
That is why i think you see alot of companies out here after the FFI stuff about my decks not showing side views of there decks. And if they do they try to make them in a way that covers what they really look like. |
