Subject: How to remove laquer and sticker from a deck Thu Oct 08, 2015 9:13 pm
So i wonder how to clean up the bottom ply, so i can attach a paper graphic. Wonder how to clean up the black spot too, i made it with a marker 4 yrs ago (when i was 13)... Looks like shit but i rly want to make my deck look better cuz its my only one.
!!NOTE: I really dont want to mess up the pop, this is the way im gonna apply graphic:
I also want to paint my hangers black will a marker do the trick? And share opinions if its worth the risk cuz i dont have any money for a new deck so it would suck if i ruin it (deck is low pro k4). *sorry for the sloppy

A fine grit sand paper should take care of any lacquer. The marker might not be as easy, depending on how far it soaked into the ply.. if it doesn't come off with a light sanding, you might be sol for the marker.
I have painted trucks with spray paint. I have never tried a marker. I have also heard that nail polish is good for painting trucks. But again, I have never tried this.
Hope this maybe helped a little..

That should all come off with a light sanding. you might need to rub the sticky off first. I always just use my thumb and rub like hell! Maybe a little nail polish remover.
