Been out of the community for 3-4 years now due to college and moving around. I recently found a shop here in China, and I couldn't resist. Picked up a new setup and hope to get my tricks back.

How's the scene been in recent years or even just 2016? We growing? Any big news?
Help me get back into it  

Here is a pic of the set up I got. Its a complete from Soldier Bar, but I changed the trucks, bushings and Grip tape to be Anti Once.

Where in China are you at? I'm in Beijing. Any chance you're here? Or sometimes here?

Hit me up if you are. A couple skateshops here have fingerboard parks and there are probably other spots.

In Shanghai for school, but if the scene in Beijing is solid, I may take a trip at some point.

Nah, there's no scene in Beijing. When I sesh the fingerboard park in the Burning Ice skateshop, all the staff get out their phones and film me hahaha. They just do it casually when the shop is quiet.

The owner of Soldier Bar invited me to go to their shop but it's in another city. And since there's an actual shop, I think it does have some kind of a scene. If there's anywhere in China to go fingerboarding, it would be there.

There used to be a Chinese language fingerboard forum as well but that closed down. There's not much of an online scene now.

There is a skateboard scene in Beijing though. Even went to a contest. It was disappointing but China's come a long way. I have no idea who you are but if you fancy a skate if you're ever up here, hit me up.

the scene has been in a bit of a weird limbo lately. almost everyone is really only on instagram, but as a whole we're still growing and bigger than ever. lots more events and exposure have been happening. not too much going on product wise besides dynamic's new 3d printed trucks which look cool, but the deck scene is pretty saturated in my opinion with a bunch of companys with decks that all look the same design/artwork/shape wise, but in a sense that's a good thing because i member 6 years ago when it was hard to find decks because all the good ones were out of stock lol. either way welcome back man
