Me and bobbysmokes have just came up with an idea to make a fingerboard magazine that will have articles,trick-tips,reviews and event coverage and many more...

We believe that with your help we could maybe make this plan into another resource of getting your fingerboard news to maybe take with when your on holiday, read if you don't have internet etc..
We're looking for contributors for the magazine who will be able to make reviews,tutorial,articles and anything else fingerboard related.

tell me below if you would like to contribute to this idea.

lots of pictures
fb news / tv movie video spottings of FB
ads of course

contributors will get
some exposure
a free ad if they have a company
a warm feeling inside for being so dope

i would want to help out but i'm not that great aat a lot of stuff apart from i can learn tricks in a few tries

I'd love to help contribute, I could help with tutorials reviews news well pretty much everything. You could maybe have a tricktip section each week and maybe some editing tuts? Idk I just thoughtbof those in a few mins:) but yeah I'd love to contribute to something like this, I could probably put them on solid too

Not everything contributed will get in the mag, but anybody that contributes will get full credit (and ad )and I'll personally pay for and ship them one copy of the magazine itself.

ermm i could do some cool like photoshopped images and stuff for peeps if you liked or i could design some stuff

if it was going to be a printed magazine i think its a good idea, but if its just going to be another blog, i think theirs enough already, and fair enough its cool when 'new' stuff is posted, but most of the fb info is just passed down the chain to all the blogs, or whoever is on the ball first........

but yeah, if it was a real magazine it could work i think

actually blosom i was thinking you would be perfect imo to do a one persons history of FB and the trends and changes you have seen. i think that kinda stuff is really interesting
and from reading threw the threads i think your input would be really awesome

i am good with photography as well as other things i can help out too. it would be a great idea if it was a real mag. i could help out with ads and things of that nature as well.

right on guys, I'm working on a few things right now also for the mag,just send me stuff and we'll take it from there. plain text is fine and I'll have it retyped into the proper format and layout.

I'm really interested to see where this goes.. If theres anything I can do, a section in the mag on unite or something, then, yea, I'm up for anything really, let me know

I hope you realise printing magazines can get quite expensive

If you want any sort of design work for the mag though, i'd more than love to do it, maybe layouts of text too, that'd be heaven

and another thing, id want to see some progress on it and see it/some laid out b4 i wrote/did some stuff, because i dont have time to be writing stuff out and researching etc, then all my hard work goes to pot because its just another fbhq members 'pipe dream'.....and we have had a lot of those around this place.........also like Thom mentioned.....printing a mag is gonna be expensive. ill bet you haven't even looked into it properly yet?......how you going come up with the money upfront for the print? how many you gonna print? how you gonna get to the printers to pick up the product? they cant 'post' the mags to you, unless you want to pay the postage on them?.....its certainly a good idea, but one where you need dedication, money, contributors and be prepared to not make any money on all your efforts more than likely a loss.

look at fingerboarder magazine. issue 1 was great. now a couple people said their was an issue 2, but we have not seen it and their are stories with publishing problems......and these are the big boys in the game...........if brr/ Thomas Hansen cannot keep it up................

instead of 'telling the world' about your ideas and 'pipe dreams' work on something, get it great, and then tell people when you know you have done most of the work, and have something people will like.....if not its just gonna be another fbhq pipe dream.........

thats only my opinion, and take it how you like, but if you really want this to fruit, go and prove me wrong and get this thing off the ground

we certainly have the platforms to make it great these days....Kerry's blog, here, fbc, ffi, fbweekly, youtube etc. it could work. but work is what it will be.

im not acting negative at all rafi. im just looking at it with the the pluses and minuses.......go and tell this idea to your teachers/parents and they will more than likely say something very similar.

if you read what i wrote properly you would understand this, and that i am trying to 'help' and 'push' you to make it work.
