| So I came up with this idea..and given it has some kinks to be worked out but I think that with our tight community of friends on here we can do it So I was thinking the other day...what if there was a way to give a complete fingerboard to someone who can only afford tech decks or..is good at fingerboarding but doesnt have good equipment. It would be amazing if there was some sort of organization that could supply those kids with a Flatface g12 complete fingerboard or even a closeup complete fingerboard. Also getting some off our fellow deck makers on here to even send 1 deck a month..or even 2 months to be donated! I think that it would be a great thing to get going and spread the fingerboard love. Most of the money will come from personal fundraising as well as donations from you guys! Now..I know what you guys are saying..great just another way for Viks to get money Well most of you know me on here and I am very legit. 100% of all of this money will be going to the kids in need. The only thing that I have to figure out to get this thing going is how to figure out if the kids really need the deck or complete. I would have to some how find a way to see if they are legit. Any comments would be appreciated and I hope that you guys will give feedback good or bad! |

Well...it would be easier if they had a youtube channel so that we could actually see if they use tech decks or not. ..and we dont even have to give completes...we can give bearing wheels, a cheap wooden deck like a closeup..or even stuff like a pack of riptape |

| sorry viks but this is just stupid in my opinion your basically setting up a fingerbording charity, theres nothing wrong with techdecks anyways if kids really wanna start fingerboarding on a more professional level, they can buy a JW and put there techdeck trucks and wheels on it. if they can afford techdecks they can afford other decks like jw, redemption, creekwood... |

Yeah I guess if they are cheap enough? And honestly..I sucked when I had a tech deck, once i got a wooden deck I got so much better |

| Everyone started with tech decks. Lets keep it that way. Everyone that does this are just going to be suck-ups and it will be a complete waste of time. |

True, 'most' of us had to save up or wait a while to get a wooden deck, should be the same for everyone else! |

| No one needs a overpriced g12.. Like rafi said anyone can buy a creekwood, redemption, whatever other under 20 dollar decks their are.. This has a good cause behind it.. but it's just kindof too out there. You can have fun with a tech deck, and if you really want to fingerboard I think you can swing 15 dollars.. |

Someone should tell this to our pathetic government .__. But, on topic, yea, this is dumb. Let make a charity to give kids who've just started skateboarding chocolate decks with royal trucks, spitfire wheels, bones reds, and something else expensive. I had a closeup for forever and I still loved fingerboarding. I had a go on my friends tech deck a few months ago and pulled off a tre flip anti casper late back finger front impossible. I'm actually serious. Tech decks aren't amazing, but they work. If they liked fingerboarding, there are many companies offering decks under 15 dollars. Even ones who accept cash in mail. So, yea, its possible. Your heart is in the right place, and I commend where you're coming from, but kids don't need to be given more stuff for free, theres already schools of kids on youtube pestering companies for sponsorship. You don't want to encourage kids to get something for nothing, thats a big bit of whats wrong with the youth of today. If I'm giving money to charity, it'll be to homeless people, because I know how much that sucks, having been there in the past, albeit for a very short period of time. |
