| So i've been putting in a pretty good amount of time and I definetly notice myself getting better. I can land kick flips about 7/10 of the time, I've done really well with a ton of repetition and I was wondering for some of you better dudes if you find that copious repetition plays a large role in your practice. |

| Repitition is the best way to get good at almost everything, So that's definitely a good way to practice.. I find analyzing the motion your trying to do to perfection is a greeat way ta learn, and constantly try To correct bad habits you may have..
Glad to hear your progressing though man |

| I have my fingerboards on my desk next to my laptop and whenever I get bored of whatever I'm doing, I'll just do a few tricks on it. I like doing a little at a time. |

| Try rolling back and forth when you're doing tricks, it certainly helps maybe try pop shuvs? |

| I practice like this, lots. Flip to grinds, I do SOO many in a row and until I get a bunch of decent ones in a row I'm not happy. These days its not hard at all though because I've practiced so much. |

| i focus really hard on technique. i can shred flat continuously for hours... i dont get the chance to shred much though.
and then i feel if i go to events and stuff i get totally shown up by everyone cos i never practice tricks on ledges or rails and no ones just there doing flats tricks at events. lol.
Doing more flips to grinds is something i need to focus on.
I think just do it whenever you please. also you dont HAVE to be an all rounder. most of the best or most well known people have been known to focus heavily on different styles. you think euan and vert, Xi flatground, Rivera Big rails, Mcinally's tricks on and around his big mini set up. In fingerboarding it's always good to stand out and have a 'niche'.

| If i practice too much i loose my consistency, little an often seems to work for me. I also watch shit loads of videos, not necessarily the fingerboard but the riders hands/finger motions & positioning etc.
Genral rule of thumb for me is : if i land a trick clean, i won't put my board down until i've atleast landed it clean 5 more times. It then becomes like a kind of self conditioning |

| I think riding alot of everything is the way to do it. Through out my years fingerboarding I would obsess on one type of riding for weeks or a month or two like transition, then flat bars, then down bars, gaps, banks, and anything elses you could probably think of after a while things will all mold into one and you'll be a good well rounded rider. defanitley practice flatground alot. |
