| does anyone think that the English FB scene isnt as included as much as the American or German, like ive been looking and Blackriver dont setup anything in London ETC they setup shit in america but not here??? they have a shop in america and germany BUT NOT HERE!
this is becoming annoying as we dont have any real parks to sesh like the +BRR+ ones AND ITS PISSING MEH OFF (LOL'D SO HARD AT THIS)
dont you think they should hold something in England ATLEAST once a year and slowly expand the scene?? so wat if it costs (you spend more than £50 when you shop at BRR so if a couple of orders are made then they can make funds)
How did sports like cricket spread. TBH techdeck have shredded up the scene enough and make it look babyish and stupid so that people take the piss out of you and say "your 12 and you play with a Tech Deck?" its getting on my nerves and it ruins my rep at school and makes me look like a Child because no-ones made the effort to broadcast it ,becuase the guys in Germany are drunks (some of them, timo's ok but u kno) Mike schneiders a selfish so and so (so what he holds rendavous) they havnt stopped and thought instead of waisting my time making videos (the vids are good but they need to organise theyre time like kerry does and Thom) or doing random stuff andput some time into the actual scene and start making a source of the FB scene
People like Kerry ,Dermord from Unite FBweekly FBTV have stopped and said "wait theres not potential with this sport, unless we can get it through to the people, otherwise people will think were some tits spending £50 on a 1inch piece of welded metal and a shaped board but theres more ot it than that and people need to know this
tell me what you think even though the SCENE is becoming stronger
and tell me your ideas for the future of fbing!
because at this rate its going to slow down.
tell meh what you think!

| I live in America and every event is too far to travel, i can't afford the gas to travel to any events even though i would really like too, the only event that has ever been near me was a dooby deck event because he is based out of a town like 1 hour from my town. Fingerdecks is a 8 hour drive from my town and they hold events every now and then. but still too far to travel and too expensive. |

| I think the main point is that fingerboarding is just not as popular in the UK as it is in the US and in Germany, although it looks like in the last year or so there have been some positive developements. - james-parsonage wrote:

I think you'll find that cricket spread through ruthless imperialism and a complete disregard for native cultures. I'm not sure it would be possible to spread fingerboarding in the same manner. |

| I don't consider fb a sport more a hobbie and yeah there is a stigma to it, like your a child etc.. And I'm pretty old lol but things are what you make them if you don't like the fb scene where your at then change it, work hard hold your own comps etc. |

| I'm in Ireland this forum was the closest to home when I had a search but there are bound to be other people in my country doing it,some of my friends do it, some quit skating so quit fb'in.. Tech decks are out a good while of they were not doing good business they would not be producing them, so obviously more that just fb heads and td collectors are buying them, maybe there is alot of closet fingerboarders that need to see what's out there |
