I have a really old phone as well lol. I was gunna buy one of those case things to change my ipod into a iphone but yeah. I think a phone has to be 3gs to get free phone internet , but I'm no expert so don't quote me on that

if you want a cheap awesome phone that does internet.. go with 3! They're the best for mobile internet, I love them. My girlfriend has this awesome phone with them, the INQ chat 3g, its like a rip off blackberry, but its well good. If I didn't have my satio, I'd get that phone.

I've had the INQ, it's quite basic, i like it for that reason because it doesn't have 1001 features but on the other hand it doesn't have that many features.

try and get a contract, beg your parents then get something on that for free

I think it will always charge for the net,unless it's on wi fi.. And Kerry is right go with 3 if your getting a plan with the net in mind, much cheaper than vodaphone o2 etc

yeah, im on 3, i have (its broken now) a HTC Hero
£18 per month for unlimited texts, 1gb internet, and 500 minutes, + unlimited 3 to 3 calls
3 is best for internet, but you get crap signal in a lot of places.
but yeah, you can get some pretty cheap androids with 3, the samsung galaxy mini is pretty decent

oh yeah, dont go with the LG Cookie, i know a few people who've had them, theyre awful.
