So I got a gophone from AT&T and got the $25 plan. It says I get unlimited texting and the 250 minutes expires in 3 months. My question is does that mean I will have to continue buying $25 cards each month just to keep my unlimited texting?

And I know this should go in quick questions but it's not fingerboard related so haha.

that's a pretty shit deal. I dunno what a gophone is, but I pay £10 a month for 3000 txts and 300 minutes.

or is it like a pay as you go thing? we don't have phone cards here really : o

Yeah basically. But like I pay $25 and I get 250 minutes and unlimited texting. And that's such a good deal omg. ;-;

And dang it...but now that I think about it, it's cheaper than the $2/day deal assuming I use my phone everyday. And it is cheaper than paying $60/month for 900 minutes and unlimited texting since I don't really talk a lot. I guess.

Go with Boost, my friend has that and I'm switching my service, his bill is $55 a month with everything unlimited.

Oh okay well I guess that's one good thing so far. And I've already purchased the card and the phone with AT&T so unless someone knows how to unlock phones then I'm stuck for a bit haha.

Yes Wonduh Cricket is legit, I don't have it but tons of my friends have it. It seems amazing. I was actually going to get it after I get a job and move out of my parents house.

I've also been reading and I read that the $25 acts as a refill card, so basically it is money into the account. Is it possible to pay $20 toward unlimited texting and have $5 left over for whatever purpose? like say 25 cents/minute for calling or something?

I think it is, Wanda, but you have to contact AT&T, so just go to their store.
