No idea how long the tube takes to where the event is but I doubt its more than 20 mins. I have an oyster card thingy but don't know if its got any money on it : o

I was looking at timetables for the trains and I was thinking of taking this one - 7:10am departure from my town, 1 change at Leeds and arriving at King's Cross St Pancras at 10:30, should this be about enough time to take the Underground to Hammersmith and then arrive at the venue roughly on time?

I'll probably bring my own food and drink to save time/money.

I'm thinking of buggering off after the event to get home so I'd only be there for the day. It's about £60 for a return on the train, about £4 for a day's travel on the Underground and £5 entry. Balls.

could anyone meet me at hammersmith station (the one nearest to the event) when I get there? I mean, it doesn't sound like it'll be hard to find my way, and I have google maps on my phone that tells me where I am, but still, it'd be cool to meet someone then, haha.. I'll get to london at 9:45 I think, then probably like 5 past 10 I'll be at hammersmith. I figure getting there a bit early is a good idea!

are you getting on the same train as me? I'm getting the 8:00 from bristol temple meads to paddington, its a first great western train. I'm on the 20:30 paddington to temple meads train home, also first great western. Would be sick if you could get the same train!

ok well that would mean i would have to get the 08:13 train..so i may do that, and you could text me what carriage you're in and we could meet, however my mum might not want to catch such an early train..i will tell you tomorrow when i have booked the train.
