| CHECK OUT our new feature we are adding into our decks. The cut out weight really helps with the density of the pop and with a lighter weight section in the middle of the deck and with a "heavier" kicktail on the end of the deck it gives the deck a more popped out feel with an !uneven! weight which while everyone knows the cliche is to have it even, but that is wrong! Heavier kicks with the combination of a lighter base = a more even feel when you flip tricks and flip out of grinds. The difference in intriguing. Sometimes a - plus a + = a positive. Think about it, and imagine it. Ray, you are a scientist- Words From A Thoughtful Customer

| Are the decks 5 plys? Because then it would be just as strong as a 4 ply, wouldn't break. But I just don't fully understand how this would do anything at all, really.. |

| No the hole will not be filled with glue. You do not just slap on glue and press the veneer pieces together. You equally lather the veneer with a foam brush. And I have never even heard of a fingerboard breaking/snapping unintentionally. None the less these decks are stronger and lighter than regular F'1's as the middle layer is 1/2 the weight and it sort of reacts to the pop because with the less mass with 2 little bands of veneer on the sides creates a tension factor between the middle with the nose and kicktail which really switches the pop up for the better.
Just think about. To me it makes sense and it does work. Just thought I would show you guys what I'm up to as we are the company who really tries to push fingerboarding performance to the next level all-the-time and alot of you guys don' think we do anything but we really do. The only reasoning is probably because we don't have any videos, we are saving up for a $1,200 camera (Canon EOS 60D KIT 18-255mm lens as I am into photography as-well so this is a great interest to me. I promise you we are not that far from our goal price and you should expect an unboxing via webcam of the camera and an update on everything soon! From the way we are making money now with the work I do around town, expect it in the next month and a half to 2 months.
Although it has a teenie bit more flex if you twist from side to side, it is stronger if you pursue to bend it from kicktail to kicktail. But you have to understand that a fingerboard deck shouldn't be 100% no flex. Although that is the cliche of thinking, it is not true. I have wrote down the science and studied it and learned how everything works within the deck as I study skateboarding and the physics the same way as-well. A deck should have about 5% flex and 95% no flex to my understanding. I still have a couple more ideas I want to do with the decks to make them even better! Please understand that we work hard at this as we are trying to stand out and push something, you can't hate on that but you are entitled to your own opinion I spose.
Professional skateboarding companies are doing it but replacing with other materials. I however cam not afford these materials and with nothing in it I think it turns out great.

nice thought/ idea though.....keep doing it. Na, I thought about that too then when I was actually putting the pieces together and the glue does not hit that area (rectangle), It simply is just there I guess. Maybe I'll make a video to explain. Just like you only apply glue to the ends of each side of the rectangular piece of veneer it is the same way so you do it to the side and skip over the middle because their is nothing there to apply glue to. I do my molding every ply then put them together. || || || || || = there I have my 5 plies and I do them all in a line, then I put them together to mold. So it is not like I am putting them on one by one and pouring glue over the middle ply and some seeps into the hole, only as much as I need to use. Thanks for the support. |

| Na, you really can't feel it at all. It's in the middle so it is pretty hidden and it has 2 pieces of veneer to overlap.
Thanks. |

| the question i want to ask is this.....
do you know how much that little piece of veneer weighs?
my guess is it wouldn't even tip 0.1 scales....(shall i weigh it for you now?)
can a fingerboarder really notice if that piece of veneer is missing from a deck?
the only way to tell is you'll have to press up 50 with and 50 without....give them out blind, (so nobody knows which they have) then get people to say whether they think it has the cut out or not.....
placebo wins in all cases

| It's not if he or she can notice, does it perform better than an original? Yes. Do we want to make improvements on our decks so they can be the best they can be. Yes.
It's simply cutting off 1/10th of the weight if that and it performs better that our regular F1's.

| What's the point of weight, it's just a fingerboard right? Aren't you just going to keep it in your pocket or something |

| The weight affects the performance, not how much your pocket is going to sag. The tension of the 2 bonding pieces to the sides add a more dynamic feel. |

| I'm really excited for this, like how your being innovative and pushing fingerboarding that little bit further. You should make a deck (and i know this sounds crazy) then cut it in half to show us what its like. But yeah, can't wait to see what it's really like! |
