| Surprisingly, this has never happened to me before and I've been fingerboarding for a long time. I remember back in the day when I recovered my Tech Deck that dropped into a drain.
I used handwash and water to clean off the oil and the board generally seems fine. It is a very thrashed setup anyway and I think maybe it's psychological... at first I thought the grip, bearing wheels and deck were fucked but I can still skate the board fine.
I remember I had a few skateboards that really did get fucked from being in the rain. Anyone have similar experiences? |

| I once dropped my old berlinwood with NC V3's in a glass of Pepsi, so I washed it off by having a bowl sesh in a full sink. I've also dropped it in wax, all separate parts had to be individuallly cleaned but it was fine |

| When i used to have granite surfaced work tops im my kitchen i used to sesh there and my board would constantly fall into my dog's water bowl, so annoying. Skateboards are the worse though, so shit to ride a waterlogged deck |

| my outdoor setup has been dropped in puddles of water and completely submerged a few times, but nothing that's killed it, its still got nice pop. Not as nice as my main, and the bearings aren't AS good as they used to be, but they're almost 2 years old so I guess they're dying anyway. |

| Tre Flipped my main setup into my grandpa's chocolate birthday cake. Luckily it didn't submerge into the cake. It was just a light mark that wasn't noticeable. Sorry, Grandpa. |

A lot better. The stuff you get in the UK really does not compare to Chinese noodles. - James.P wrote:

Iunno. Address suggests Netherlands. Kerry can match it with Ren's FFI account since he's a global mod. It's a different name though so I don't even |

| I dropped a tech deck in a crack of a building...
Like one of those holes that you can never get it back from...
It was only a tech deck though so I was like "That sucks but whatever." |

| Yes, my brother peeled the foam tape off of one of his decks (can't remember what kind it was) and instead of using goo gone to get the sticky glue-like stuff off the top, he ran it under some water and hacked at it with his fingers and nails. Glue came off good, but he pre-dried it, then when it was dry, wrapped it up in a thick paper towel and let it sit overnight. It dried okay, but his layers at the nose and tail became "puffy" and eventually began to split and break off. However, I'm pretty sure that it was a cheap deck, so maybe they just used shitty glue on their layers. Better crafted decks may not become damaged like that, but I do not know for certain. |
