| More recognition of the true scene by the general public and other companies.
I'd like to see more people appreciate and recognise what fingerboarding is beyond being a toy. This would obviously be at a level more advanced than plastic Tech Decks but good tricks on good boards and if it had exposure on TV, whether it's on a normal network or something more specialised like Extreme/MTV, as long as it's true to fingerboarding, it would be cool.
I would also like to see large commercial companies and other skate-affiliated companies take a larger interest in fingerboarding by sponsoring events, parks and riders themselves. I remember seeing a picture of Snickers sponsoring a BRR park in a skateshop - Snickers paid for the park and branded it with Snickers stickers. I was impressed they would do that although I would love to see fingerboarding on a level that skateboarding is now where events, parks and riders get sponsored by food/drink companies, skate companies, clothing companies and even seemingly random companies such as electronics companies. Tech Deck easily has the power to do this in the US seeing how the US championships went. They also sponsor Fast Fingers in Germany but they do little for the UK and worldwide scene.
So that's what I want to see on the macro scale.
On the smaller side, I want to see more people organising meetups, without the need for only meeting up to hold an event and asking for free sponsor products. We should build our community first before arranging events and even then, they should be organised by trusted people in the scene.
I also feel some companies are not putting in their fair share of support to the scene. Mainly the China based companies. I am in China right now so after being on a few Chinese sites, I've found how cheap you can get things. I can understand smaller companies not being able to do much but everyone needs to follow the example of companies like Flatface, BRR, Close Up but not limited to these.
I want people to stop thinking they need the same tricks, style, deck, trucks, wheels, obstacles and camera as someone else just because it's "cool". Define your own style.
Less dubstep in videos.
I want people in the online scene to be more friendly, appreciative and helpful, especially towards newcomers. We want to build the scene, not to destroy it. If someone doesn't know about how legit a certain company is, don't spam bad things, just politely inform them. If people are posting videos, don't just comment on whoever is popular. All people want comments and views, if people don't get any, they may just feel like leaving the scene. Commenting with proper feedback instead of just "nice" is helpful to people and I'm sure you would enjoy constructive criticism for your videos too.
The last thing I should mention is one of the most important things... please use your common sense. If you know you are not using proper forum etiquette, don't do it. If you think a post or a poster seems like a scam or a troll, don't feed them. |

It'd be great if no so many people hid their hobby. It's not embarrasing, it's not childish, it's a hobby, one that can eb quite serious. An embarrasing hobby is compulsive masterbating. |

| haha yea, that too. I don't get what's sooo lame about it, I'd be more embarrassed with my life if I did nothing but play call of duty or something but thousands and thousands of people do that and don't care.
yet fingerboarding is lame because it isn't 'real life'. call of duty is real?
People confuse me XD |

| More acceptance in general. I wish it wasn't looked at as a "baby version" of skateboarding... They are very similar it's just one is for those who are good with their fingers. That and just more products in general... Like skateshops should sell more professional fingerboarding gear other than just fucking plastic tech deck crap. That or if tech deck could make some real products... ;P |

| Cheaper pricing, it's costs so much just to have a decent setup. That's the reason I'm taking a break for a while, and cuz my bushings are fucked again, leaving me with nothing to use for a while. |

Yes. I think it's a bit annoying that companies are sooo secret about their methods. If their company profile is strong enough it wont hurt them to tell people how they do. |
