I'm quite worried what people will think but idc anymore just do what you love and they can do what they love. All my friends play minecraft and CoD cos its 'cool' but they do that and I fingerboard.I have my hobby they have theirs.

Fingerboarding, Piano, Guitar, Guitar Hero, Tap Tap, you name it, get one of these under your belt and you're good to go.

Also, I hope people come out more. My classmates Tech Decked and got bullied, so I came out as a fingerboarder and they stopped being bullied coz I'm some sort of Student Council Senator in my school.

'come out'? seems the wrong word for me, like, you don't have to have a big emotional outburst to everyone that you skateboard, so why that you fingerboard? I wish people would stop seeing it as something you 'shouldn't do'.

I heard my friends once talking at school about tech-decks and they said that they used to do it when they were like 10 years old and now they think it was ridiculous because it's something for babies. I was just new at school and I did not want screw up my "reputation", so I didn't tell them I actually like fingerboarding. I think it's all about how your friends think about it, because I also like riding my bike, and some of my friends even thought that was ridiculous too just because the biggest nerd of my school also likes it. Where I live it isn't just accepted at all and I don't know why, it's just a hobby like gaming in my opinion.

EDIT: And I also suck at it, I just learned nollies, but can't do them consistently and I can sometimes do a heelflip, and my friends only like things they're good at because in their opinion it's stupid to waste your time on something you're not good at :roll: But now I've got a "good reputation" I think they would accept the fact that I like it, but I'm not sure so I only will tell my really best friend about it because I know I can trust him and he doesn't think it's stupid.

EDIT: I think we just are all on this forum because we can't talk about it to our friends because they do not understand it. I'm also on other fora of games my friends don't like just to talk about it because nobody of my friends/family understands.

Just do it and if anyone tries to pester you, kickflip into their eye and yell HOU U BAKKES. I'm sure that would work.
