Otherwise 2013 will bring 34mm 'reg' decks and 40mm wides ._. Or, to be less hyperbolic, 32mm for me is just too wide for a main. Please don't change blosom decks to being 32.5, the 30.5s are PERFECT.

You do have a valid point about them setting the mark, half the kids only want 32mm decks because berlinwood did it. Its crazy. I know a lot of the team riders still ride 29mms though, so yet, hopefully that can counter the craziness of the mega wide decks + trucks.

32mm will only be a phaze as long as the popular riders use them. that's really why all the 13 year old kids are going crazy over them. As soon as they realize that 32mm is almost un-natural, they'll come running back to good ol' 28mm

I dunno guys, this is pretty silly discussing this as its just a few centre metres on a board, not even that haha

but its quite annoying that most decks will start to be made extra wide, although I can adapt to any size haha

I saw these trucks back at fast fingers, and they sure are crazy, i'm surprised none of the eagle eyed kids managed to spot them in veeeeery popular videos like this one;

I love 32mm decks, i actually have a BW wide coming in the mail. I have hockey hands so i need something wider for my larger fingers. however i REEALLLLYY dont think wide trucks will make ANY difference. regular trucks work on EVERYTHING just fine.

Of course this wider version had to come out, many people like they're deck and trucks with the same width.

and just to think... tech deck trucks are substantially shorter than regular trucks...

and yeah i guess you would feel the difference in stability. idk my ytrucks span about 30 mm so itll still work fine when my bw wide gets here

i think they are the way forward.

its like in skateboarding. imagine riding a wide deck with trucks that are substantially shorter than the width. the board is crazy to control. yet you have a setup with trucks slightly wider than the deck the stability is good.....OK tricks flip slower, but thats not everything.

and i think it is good practice to have your bolts slightly wider than your deck, and your wheels level or slightly over the width of your deck. makes for a solid setup.
