| I've seen a few trends from watching videos.
Landing with finger tips and landing with flat fingers (like when you execute a trick).
Which is actually the preferred style?
I tend to like the way people land with their fingers flat and thats what I do personally.
Any opinion?
Also smoothness is something else I want to ask about. Many guys seem to be very smooth and many don't.
How do you work on your style and getting smoother?
Just a few questions I wanted to ask. |

| i like fingertipping tricks. i think it looks cleaner.
also smoothness is really just executing tricks and lines in one fluid forward motion, so what i do is i keep my fingers moving forward at a steady pace while doing tricks, regardless of if i end up landing it or not. eventually you will adjust your tricks so you can lend them and have your fingers move fluidly instead of flicking a trick and quickly trying to find where the board lands and stomping down on it. it works after some practice |

| I may have to try fingertipping tricks then. Maybe record it then with and without doing it that way to see what I like better.
I'll work on trying to get smoother. I believe that's most challenging part to FBing. I've noticed a lot of videos I've seen guys aren't very smooth and I remember when I used to be smooth and remember how long it took to get that way.

| Both of them guys have really good style.
I'm definitely going to work on it to see if I can improve and get a little more flow going on.
FYI: I used to live in Lebanon, TN. |

| Lebanon is a very small suburb of Nashville, TN. Nothing but farmers and tractors which was kind of nice to be honest. I actually lived in Monroe, NC pretty much all my life which is about 30 minutes from Charlotte and its pretty country but not as much as Lebanon.
I wish I had more skills to help pay the bills haha. |

my city sends invitations to all the known skaters in the mail to go to city hall and plan skateparks ourselves. its sooo fun cuz we get to choose exactly what we want |

| All of them guys have really good style. Its crazy how many guys are actually GOOD now. I remember when if you could ollie you were good and if you could do a legit kickflip you were god!
Ah Canada must be nice! I'd love to visit one day and maybe even check out Alaska. They have a surf spot in Alaska that breaks once a year I believe and people will wait for a long time to surf it!
I used to surf and still do when I get a vacation and can head to the coast. |

| lol no one surfs here because there arent any real bodies of surfable water for at least a thousand kilometers skateboarding is huge though because cops here are so lenient and really dont have anything against skaters like in the states. some actually will come and watch you skate if you are any good |
