| What should I do =
I have recently brought a gba game on eBay. I just recieved the package however their was a slight tear and no game inside it. Someone must have taken the item!
Not Important =
The seller lives about 1-2 miles from my house; I asked his if we could meet up but he said no. Theirs no stamp ( of the date when it was sent ) on the stamp ( queens head ) eg 1st stamp Thw items value is 2-5£ |

| Report them to eBay with negative feedback and if you used Paypal file a complaint saying you never received the product. |

| Ask the seller for proof of postage. As a seller in the UK, it's always important to ask for a proof of postage slip from the post office. Although this does not prove the item in question has been posted, it proves that something was posted to you on whatever date. If you get this slip from the seller, you can claim insurance on the value of the things posted if it is a low value. I'm not entirely sure what the limit is but you should be OK if this is the case; higher value items can be claimed if they used registered post.
If the seller cannot produce the proof of postage, then you are protected by eBay's buyer protection. Contact the seller online through eBay and ask for it, if he hasn't got it, file a dispute on eBay and try and get your money back.
The not important thing is actually important. You should go through the official channels of communication in order to get the item/money. Further submit a picture/scan of the envelope if there's a chance to submit evidence.
I'm afraid I don't know too much about eBay disputes like this, mine have usually been cases of items not arriving.
Good luck. |
