| This should be put into the quick question thread, but a nice started deck would be a close up, or a g12 complete. |

| Flatface Complete: its one flatface g12 deck, wide trucks, riptape, and flatface bearing wheels. $59.99 USD
Close Up G4 Complete: Griptape, bearing wheels, trucks and a deck all prepackaged for you. The deck is an odd shape though and not great as a first deck because everything else will be difficult to get used to. $29 USD
Those are two pre-done completes that you can get. If you want something else here is an idea: Pure Deck (Made by BrianC on this forum): $9 which is insanely inexpensive for their quality Flatface Dump Trucks (regular wide trucks): $4 Flatface G6D Bearing Wheels (some of the best in the world): $30 Riptape Tuning Kit (3 sheets riptape and tuning for your trucks): $9 Total: $52

| Welcome to FBHQ! Your profile says you already have a Redemption MMC which is a perfectly good deck. In fact, your setup sounds like the exact setup that I sold to someone at Little Wheels 2 for 10 Pounds and mine had Flatface Teflon bushings. I would probably recommend first upgrading to bearing wheels. I would recommend buying some Close Up bearing wheels from France or some Cartwheels from England. Then grab a Riptape tuning kit from Blackriver Ramps and you'd have a pretty nice setup.
If you're on a budget, upgrading what you have is a much better idea than buying a whole new complete setup. |
