| It will never combine, as Religion isolates itself. If anything, if ever fingerboarding becomes popular, Religion will make bitchy comments to alienate itself ever more. |

| Actually I'm gonna add something here, in the states they have skate church where the hold sermOns in the churches skatepark to garner some followers for the dwindling organisation.

| here's the thing. with organizations like skatechurch, they're trying to reach a community that generally has an "outcast mentality" like i don't know, they might feel unwanted or like rebels. teenagers. the organization's aim (or at least it should be) is to give kids a safe haven where there's no drugs, drinking, or other bad influences, and the leaders to share what they believe with the kids. i've been volunteering for such an organization for 6 years. we're not trying to lure kids in haha.
but i think with fingerboarding it's different. fingerboarding can be viewed as a hobby, maybe less of a lifestyle. however skateboarding is definitely both a lifestyle and hobby. here's the difference between the two activities. in both cases the faith is up to the person who fingerboards or skates. i think if there is any sort of integration like holywood or whatever, it's purely for graphical and for the aesthetics. this is a weird topic, i don't think anyone's done it yet, and i'd say it probably shouldn't be done haha. |
