| Here's the "finished" article. I know it's not as good as it could be, still a bit rough round the edges, but for a quick experiment I'm really happy with it. I'm particularly pleased with the quarter pipe, which I somehow managed to give a really nice even curve to, and I really like the coping on top. The white plastic buffers are there because I couldn't get the concrete perfectly level or strong enough as it met the floor (I made them from an old fabric softner bottle). Any thoughts would be appreciated. the whole plaza looks very nice have fun! Yea, the size isn't quite right; if anything it's a little too wide ontop, but any smaller and the top ledge would be completely unusable. The arched gap was just something I threw on at the last minute. |

How do you mean? The lower one? I'd have to saw it off and then relay concrete over the gash. I think I'll just leave it as is, seeing as the whole project was an experiment anyway. I've just worked out the numbers and I have just enough polystyrene left to build a full half-pipe, with a solid MDF base. Seeing as I had trouble levelling the concrete to the floor, I thought the best plan was to avoid the problem altogether and build something that didn't require it. I'm currently sketching out ideas. Might post them if people want to see? If anybody has any suggestions or ideas, I'd like to hear them |

| nice concrete ramps Bearded Fingers, although I do suggest at the bottom of the riding surface of like the kickers/up ramps put a folded up piece of aluminum foil so it will protect your wheels from getting to rough and then it will be smooth at the bottom as well. That's what I always did with my homemade ramps! |
