| Does anyone else use their Tech Deck riser pads on their actual setup? I've started doing it on mine and think it looks really good haha. I don't know if it really makes any difference performance wise, but I find it is easier to mount the trucks as the kingpin can sink into the rubber of the pad meaning it doesn't scratch on your deck.   |

| Riser pads isnt meant to protect the kingpin from scratching the bottom of the deck (not like that matters) Risers pads are meant to raise the trucks a bit higher from the deck for the people that like to ride really loose, thus preventing wheel-bite. I use them on my skateboard because I ride my 8.5 Indy's as loose as possible. |

| I don't really need them unless the bushings I am using or something in the trucks or wheels make the board ride too low. All my setups are without risers. |
