What do you guys prefer ? If you can see the mounting screws or not see them
and also precut or cut ?

I always used to show screws, now not so much.

Uncut, always. Never would get precut.

yea precut is fiddly and crap imo. a simple file, knife, or even pair of scissors can cut tape effortlessly and renders precut useless basically.

for me it's screws showing the first time, then not when I change tape.

from time to time I change decks just because i'm bored, so always make the screw holes, as I can't afford to change tape when I don't need to

I dont make holes in the tape before i need to get to the screws. They are always in the same place so they are easy to find

I used uncut tape. I like the idea of gripping my own board.

I also show screws. I think it helps me with my finger placement and to be able to judge where the trucks are.

However, it is a pain in the butt to get the screws to be on top. The best solution I found is to put the tape on the deck and then take a tiny drill and drill out the extra tape.

The downside of having tape on top of screws is that if you do have to take your truck base place off for any reason then you either have to take the whole tape off or try to unscrew the screws with the tape still on it. LOL

As mentioned above. It has never been a problem for me. Just stick the tool into the screw through the tape.

Some tapes are easier to make holes in than others. I usually just stick the screw through and turn it from side to side. It will either crawl under the tape or cut a hole.

uncut and screws showing ^-^ apart from when i'm feeling lazy or the deck was hard to set up for a certain reason

Pro tip: use a small screwdriver and spin it on each hole while pressing down for perfect holes erry time. Plus its super easy and takes like 3 seconds.
