Okay, so I trying to get ready for the Texas Rendezvous event so I ordered a new board and such and guess what.

I totally suck on my new deck, but I'm awesome on my old one.

But the whole purpose was to have a new deck for the event, but I still suck on it.

I just don't get it. Sometimes you have certain setups where everything just works perfectly and then other setups nothing works.

I usually have very clean kickflips, but on my new setup they look crappy, but the thing is if someone were to see me on my new setup they would think that I totally suck, but give me my old setup and I'm freaking awesome.

If you do say so yourself, haha. You just need to get used to it. Is it different dimensions and stuff? Happened to me when i got my yellowood, its normal.

It's fine man. Just sesh it for a while. However though, rarely, there are some decks which totally suck and you can't use it. I have one which I cannot absolutely use due to it not having concave. It's just preference but for the life of me I cannot do lazers on it.

It's because you need to get used to new decks, they're obviously different to what you're using currently. If you're awesome on your usual deck though, why change it? I've been using my Blosom for over 2 years, I've tried a lot of other decks but this one is better than any other, therefore I stick with it.

What decks are they?

usally needs to be broken in.
but some will do that.

yea you've gotta get used to stuff. takes time

sometimes, you don't need to fix something unless it's broken

if your old deck works great, use it because personally thrashed setups look just as good as clean new ones (COUGH COUGH HITOSHI)

but seriously though, use your old deck is you are better, having a new deck is good, but if you suck on it, then you don't need to look good just because you think you may not look as cool as other people on an old deck
