Hello, I’m happy to announce that for the first time ever BeatPants will be hosting Battle of the Beast, a SoCal Fingerboard Competition on March 29th, 2014. The purpose of the event is to create a fun environment and keep the momentum going in the Southern California fingerboard community.

Here are the details:

Time: March 29th, 2014, 11am – 6pm

Location:
254 San Lorenzo
Pomona, CA 91766

Fee: $8- Covers entry, lunch and 1 raffle ticket.

Competitions: Anyone can sign up at the event. There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. The comps will be best runs followed by GoS for the top 12 qualifiers.

Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to placeholders as well as raffled off at the end of the event.

The Store: Our sponsors are invited to sell products at the event store. Attendees will have a rare opportunity to check out and purchase a variety of different fingerboard brands all in one place. 100% of the sales from the store go straight to the companies.

Lunch: Plant Food for People will be catering the event with their delicious vegan tacos. Attendees will each receive one lunch voucher and will be able to exchange it for food and a beverage.

There is going to be a lot of time for free skate as well. There is also a real life Winkler Mini for all the skateboarders out there  Might want to get there a little early to sesh it.

Sick dudes! I'm hyped. It's mostly a hangout and fb event but there will also be a judged competition. So far we have the G9 Park, a Big Mini and a Playground as well as various concrete parks that are currently being worked on. I'll probably be bringing a couple of my larger obstacles as well so there should be plenty to shred.

And these tacos are sooooo good you wouldn't even think they were vegan. It's taco Tuesday today so I'm going to hit up Plant Food for People on my way home from work. Get nice on some tacos.

I'm working on these limited edition FingerboardingBeast decks for Battle of the Beast.

For sure dude! We're probably going to put the Playground on the ramp during the event but later in the evening anything's possible.
