Is your mold aluminum? And how is it dirty, like covered in glue?

It is an aluminum mold,I have tried scrubbing with a toothbrush but it has like a dark surface build up that won't come off and I don't want to scrub it with something that may damage the surface.I am looking for safe suggestions to hopefully bring back to new or close to new.

I'm sure you will find better advice on another webpage. Some people out there must have experience cleaning up aluminium. Maybe start by asking Jim from NFB what he would recommend.

I think that is good advice Mikkel,I thought maybe I would get a quick and useful suggestion from another deck maker who has had to do this before.
Cheers dude.

Yea happy I've had to do this for the longest time, never gotten around to it though.

I wouldn't do anything to my mold though without checking with someone that has a good amount of metalwork exeperience.

Let it boil in water for a while. The build up should come off by itself, if not you can pick off whats left

What shape does the 33 mm Berlinwoods have? Low or regular?

Same concave as the BW Wide's i believe happy

I shit, I hate that shape. They should release some in the low shape.. happy

IKR!! I think its was Jay or Mike they got a low 33.3 afro

true, but imho the BW xwide shape doesn't feel like there's much concave, because of the deck's width. It's defined, but it feels low. I also ride low concave decks mostly, but I'm absolutely fine with the 33,3mm BWs.

Use a piece of old denim jean material and buff the skate grip. Should take the edge off without wearing it away too much or leaving debris all caught in the grit.
