| This review is on the new mold Jason is using at Level Up Fingerboards. Jason has truly stepped up his game making fingerboard decks. This is now his 3rd mold he has offered and is a definite level up versus his previous designs. He is now using a cnc mold so every deck meets high standards including an optimum finish. The edges are rounded and smoothened out for a nice feel and the pop is excellent. Both decks I received are amazing and he offers different widths for you to choose from. I think his decks are made using the same length for the nose and tail but I asked him to make my donatelo deck with a 1.5 mm shorter tail as that is what I am most use to riding and he was awesome enough to make that custom dimension for me. I have been riding this deck for about 2 months now and have no issues and was very easy to get used to. Came with some creamy goo tape which does not hold up so well in the pockets but ooh oooh my it feels so soft and grippy : ). It is now my main deck I have been riding for about 2 months now. Definitely pick up a few of his decks and stay tuned cause I can assure you there is more amazing stuff to come from this brand in the near future. | I have a Level Up, and am expecting another tomorrow! I'd just like to mention that Jason has the best countersinks that I have ever seen on a fingerboard.. They're perfect every single time.. Also, compared to his older decks the newer one's have a different rounding (decks form a few stocks ago looks similar to Cowply's). |
