So; my companies coming out with new tape for the beginning of January. I already have a few prices in my mind. I want to offer something different in the pack, so heres a question. Please chose what you would prefer...?

every deck is a different shape though?...and decks are getting wider all the time...precut sucks now cos they are just too small for the deck, and with fbs/anchor you gotta have a deck no longer than 99mm ideally....and no wider than 29mm, or precut just looks funny on it..........

uncut! I don't get why precut exists, all decks are different shapes.

Get uncut.
Go to a shop/steal from your mum/sister, A NAIL FILE.
Put tape on deck.
File edges.
Brush off excess with file/your fingers.
Fingerboard.

Srsly, its sooo not hard I don't get it. Precut was designed for BWOMs when there was soo few deck companies that precut worked. It doesn't any more, I don't get why any companies go for it tbh. Maybe if tape companies did tutorials on uncut tape on their sites, kids would know what to do

5 uncut, just because I recently had a problem putting some precut Riptape on my Lowpro -__-

As for the uncut/precut dilemma, I only think you should do precut if you plan on making decks, too. 4c tape is precut to fit their decks, so that's why it's precut.

precut is fucked up for example:
compare the kicks of a g12/berlinwood to the kicks of a motive whih are pretty flat or at least the 2 i have are
and its like if you had a close up you'd have a deck of about 26mm and precuts like 29 or summin its really annoying ( but no-one uses a close up lol)

HMM, interesting answer...so do you think it's best to give an option for precut and uncut and mix and match?

It's not a big deal. If the tapes good people will get it.
